My first unit worked for a few days and then stopped. The manufacturer read my original review here and sent a replacement.This USB-C hub is a solid budget friendly choice. Everything works well. A few minor nitpicks:1. the cord is short2. it runs hot3. ethernet cable is difficult to get in/outOverall a very good deal if you don't get a defective unit, and if you do, this manufacturer stands by their product.My original review:It stopped working after a few days. Be advised: This USB-C hub will not work unless it's plugged into wall power using the computer's USB-C charging cable. I can't comprehend why any manufacturer would not make peripherals that operate under the laptop's battery power. This product is useless to me when I'm working in the field (which is most of the time).

Does what its is suppose to do but when I use the USB ports with my mouse it is not smooth when i move across the screen.

I bought this hub in December 2017. It gets very hot all the time. All the ports works fine except the HDMI which stopped working a week ago. I couldn't find the link to contact the manufacturer to see if the product is still covered by the warranty.

I love the size in which the HUB comes in as it is very portable and light, highly recommend to anyone looking for a HUB for a USB-C port device. My first HUB that arrived did not work as expected, but the QDroid team did contact me after leaving a review and sent a fully functional replacement. I am very pleased with the device as well as care and service QDriod gives their customers.

I received this item about 2 months ago and was gone for a month before I tried it. When I finally tried it, it did not work at all and I can't return it because the time to do so has expired and I cannot locate the manufacturer - no website and no link on Amazon. I want to return it for a replacement. Can anyone help me? It was a lot of money for something which is defective.

I attempted to use this dongle to help migrate from my old MacBook Pro. Didn’t work when hooked up through USB or Ethernet. Then I forgot about it cause I didn’t have time to play with the computer. Then I tried to use it again to play through the HDMI port to my tv. Didn’t work either. Maybe I got a bad one, but either way I’m not satisfied with this purchase

It heats up A LOT, but it keeps on working as advertised so far.
