- About this item The tubes are made of butyl, a kind of synthetic rubber, very elastic and air-tight at the same time. Depending on the mix used, different product qualities can be obtained: Ecovelò tubes have extreme characteristics in terms of air tightness and elasticity and can be used for a wide range of tyre sizes. The Ecovelò tyre consists of four basic elements: rim (frame), a circle rim strip for a stable positioning on the rim, treads (rubber patterns on the outer part of the tyre), anti-puncture protection tyre (except for special ultra-light and sports ones where this feature is intentionally eliminated). -
