It does have a lovely floral flavor/smell. Making extract now.

Dried out and flavorless
These things smell nice, but if you want to make some vanillia, this is not the way to go.. these things are dried out and provide little to nothing by way of flavor. All they made for me was brown colored liquor after chopping them up and immersing them in a bottle of alcohol and agitating them daily for several months.
