SupaDec Plastic Coil Curtain Track 4 metre for Straight and Bay Windows

It was a bit fiddly to straighten, I used a hot air stripper with a lower power setting to- carefully- warm it and lay it flat on the floor.Curtains run smoothly and once up and secured with the brackets it's fine. We're using half length curtains with a blackout backing and it's certainly strong enough for weight of them.

Cheap enough for the price, easy to straighten, but they never fully straighten hence four stars, screws are not much cop and thread but the actual item itself is really decent and recommended, been up a month or two now with no issues

This curtain rail, although well made, is difficult to straighten out from it's curled packaging, even if you follow the instructions! They recommend putting it in hot water to straighten, this does work to a degree but still tends to curl a bit especially at the ends. This makes it difficult to put in place easily and can affect the closing and drawing of the attached curtains.

the track is easy to put up as long as you straighten out the track first (heat up with hot water then bend the oppisite way then let it lay flat) all the fittings were ok, a little stiff on the connectors to the wall moving along the track also the end stoppers the screw that stops it from moving faces the wall but other than that great track and good value

The product comes wrapped in a circle. Therefore when you try to straighten it out to a long pole like curtain rail ....it does not it curves and causes a real serious problem when trying to install. It is not easy to straighten it out to a one long length. NO matter what you do it will end up with curves and your curtains will hang like that. Its a nightmare to install due to the curved plastic which is hard to return to a long shape the packing it in a round circle forces the plastic to still want to return to that circle when you cut the holding binds. Shocking I would next time go to a shop and buy one length which is straight and does not come in a forced circle.

I suspect this product comes bagged straight from the factory. and once erected just needs some polish (Mr Sheen or equivalent) sprayed onto the rail to get that really smooth running (and remove that stickiness of new plastic)
