About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words. Music. Style. Innovation. How did you come up with the idea for this product? It all began in 2011 when we (Didi Hirsch; renowned DJ/Musician and freeskier and mountain biker Manuel Reisacher) came together to create an urban street and sportswear label in Germany. Based on the hand-knitted, colourful beanies made by Manuel’s mother Pia, we set about our mission to combine the humble beanie hat with the finest quality headphones. With the cooperation of Austrian headphone manufacturer AKG, innovative designs, fine materials and a lot of late nights, EAREBEL was born! What makes your product special? The quality components of our products are what make them special; studio quality headphones combined with the best yarns and materials ensure that our headwear is unrivalled in sound quality, performance and comfort What has been the best part of your startup experience? The whole experience has been fantastic, from concept to production. But getting the recognition from AKG that our products were worthy of being combined with headphones of such amazing quality would have to be the best part… so far!
