Having recently forked out a fortune to have a garden wall replaced, the last thing I expect was for a conveyor belt style public convenience for our feathered friends to visit have a chat to each other and dump out their excess baggage allowance all over my freshly paved patio and new wall.Not sure what the builder used to bond the bricks with, but it's been attracting birds of all sizes to visit the new wall, and judging by the size of some of the guano deposits, cows, pigs and even elephants do in fact fly.Something had to be done, the recently installed water meter was spinning fast enough to power a small village with the pressure washer in constant use to clear up said guano on more or less an hourly basis.Out with the trusty drill and several packs of these anti bird spikes..I have to admit I was slightly dubious, but hey ho..nothing ventured...I was eyed by rooks, crows, pigeons, eagles, cultures,and at one stage a pterodactyl as I screwed these plastic pointy bird deflectors to the wall top.As I got to the last strip of spikes , the very last screw going in, I looked back to view my handy work, only to spy a huge black crow coming into land...and land it did...and instantly took off again with a look of confusion about it, akin to a parent stepping on a Lego after visiting a sleeping child ..Seconds later, a pigeon aborted it's landing on final approach with a look of fear in it's beady black eye..Success..these beauties work..However, I have since spied some avian daredevils landing atop these spikes, and looking directly at me..mocking my handy work, but, and this is the best part, not hanging about to dump all over the now freshly painted wall.Are they a success?.. Maybe..Do they stop birds 100%..maybe not..would I buy them again?..Oh yes indeed, they also stop cats and squirrels..proper result..In essence, if you have a wall with a guano problem, install these beauties, and be bothered with guano no longer.

these are brilliant easy to install, I used gorilla double sided tape, and they are very effective. I would not want to walk on them 🤣🤣

Better than the previous smaller type I had these deter all types of wild intruders highly recommended

I bought these spikes to keep our kittens in the garden. The spikes have kept cats out, so we’ll see if they work in reverse.
