Excellent light strands
I got 2 sets of these to connect to each other and go around my back porch. The bulbs are thick plastic and will not break if dropped (trust me on this one.... ). The wire is a bit thinner than I am used to having a similar set from Costco, however they hold up just fine when strung out over a distance. There are 3 brightness / tone levels which are really good for lighting up the area in a nice calm light. It is not a bright light which would be annoying for its use, but instead has a good, soft glow making the porch look great at night. It lights up the stairs clearly - my backyard is very large and very dark so this is very handy. After an initial issue I had with connecting 2 sets together I reached out to the seller and received a reply with an answer that resolved my problem in literally under an hour. And Im just going to put this out there..... I ran these along the inside of my deck railing. My grill is on my deck. I had my grill at super high temp firing up some ribs and the following day I noticed I actually melted one of the bulbs on the set! And - it still works perfectly fine. I just removed the bulb from there and moved it to an area that isnt seen (I have it going under my deck for a short period) and replaced the bulb cover with another one, and strategically placed my grill in a different area so as to not do that again. Very impressed it was still working with no issues. I use these every night.

FFS Works Great
In a world where I am constantly questioning if I am getting what I paid for this seller has truly come through for your boy. All the bulbs work - came with a spare even - and everything FEELS sturdy! The bulb housing & cover a thick & seem durable and the cord feels closer to an extention cord than your typical string of lights.Set up was smooth and user friendly - I know for some of your this is important given the complexity of hanging such a device. The remote works as intended, though, the fact that it comes with one is surprising in-of-itself.The bulbs have multiple setting which seem to work fantastically but if you're looking for something super bright this isn't it. I prefer this myself but some of you psychopaths have your phone on light mode so idk..Overall I'm super satisfied and the negative reviews boggle my mind. Try reaching out to the seller for help?If you want something SUPER fancy go spend your fancy money. If you want a really good product for a really good price this is what you want.Overall I'm impressed with what I got for what I paid and would recommend to anyone, whether price is an option or not.

Failed operation way too soon
The lights are perfect for our outdoor application, length, style, amount of light. However, I have now had two of the units fail that plug into the first string, the other end into a timer that is plugged into an outdoor rated electrical outlet. That interface piece, likely a current/ voltage regulator of some sort, has failed twice now, and both were new from the supplier. The lights began to flash, and the interface piece was quite warm, not really hot though, to the touch. I may well have installed these incorrectly using the timer interface to cycle the lights, but don't notice any restriction on that set up step. I will remove these lights, and have bought more expensive replacements from a different manufacturer that clearly state they work with a timer like mine.Additional comment as of 7-2-2024: Very quickly after Amazon cleared my unsatisfactory review for posting, Addlon initiated a refund. I did not ask for a refund. Addlon did that of their own initiative. I appreciate such service, and candidly I never expect lower end product manufacturers to act this fashion. So I want to acknowledge Addlon's welcome action. Additionally, the "interface" part that I think did indeed fail, based on how warm to the touch it was, and that swapping the warm one out for a new one (each 48 foot string came with this piece), restored the lights to normal operation...for a short period, then the second unit also was warm to the touch, and the two 48 foot strings and one 24 foot string were flashing. Reading the "fine print" on the warm unit I learn it is a AC to DC converter, apparently supplied by Intertek, model 5023392. And again, I was plugging the AC/DC converter into a simple old fashioned mechanical timer I have used (of this same operating manner) for many outdoor electrical power on/off operations (pond pump, holiday lights), and so my application may have contributed to the converter failure.
