Great Buy!
This is an excellent product at a great price. I needed to add some "ground cover" to two artificial trees I recently purchased. I inserted the trees and added a strofoam disc a few inches below the top of the pots. Went to the local craft store and found a product - basically brown, dried out spanish moss - for $25 a bag. Estimated I would need two bags ....and I didn't want to pay that much. Found this product, purchased a two pack - and ended up only using one! Much more economical choice. Followed the directions and pretty easily separated the moss filler and added it to the top. It looks great!! Best part is that I have an extra package for a future project. I'm thinking that when some dust inevitably settles on top of the moss, I might be able to just give it a quick rinse under water, let it dry, and re-use it.

Looks beautiful!
The media could not be loaded. Used it make my faux plant look real. Filled the bot with paper bags and used a glue gun to glue down a layer of moss. You get a WHOLE lot for the price. I have more than enough to do a plant or two more. I followed the directions provided for rehydrating the moss. I dried it in my sunroom. The greenery smell from the natural dye is a bit strong when went so outside, a garage, or sunroom is the best place to let it dry. Once dry you can smell it if you purposely sniff it but it doesn’t smell up the room or anything. Love the product. The only thing I was confused about is I bought it because it says it was faux but it seems real to me LOL maybe it’s just take good or I am confused. Either way it worked really well for my intended purposes.

A lot of moss in a tiny package
Really impressed with the amount of moss packed into this little package. Color looks very natural and should work nicely in a number of projects I have in mind.My only wish would be that there were instructions for reconstituting the moss once opened.Comes compressed into a small block that requires water to reconstitute. I simply sprayed the block a few times and again after separating the layers. Once done, it filled a medium sized basket, I even enjoy the earthy smell. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not sheets. Small pieces.
This moss comes in a small, dry compressed block. Needed rehydration then set out to dry before I could use it. It has a nice natural dark green color. The reason for only 4 stars was due to very loose & small pieces, which I was still able to make work for my project. It is not a sheet of moss.

Great Product!
GREAT PRODUCT!!! Couple of things to be mindful of. Make sure you watch the video in the ad and following the directions. Submerge in water until the Moss fully expands. The. Pull apart the moss and allow it to dry out completely. Dry it outside or in a garage NOT IN YOUR HOME!!! Make sure to wear latex gloves while handling the moss. The dye will turn your hands green.

Dyed moss!
The reason this Moss is so much greener than some of the others is that it is dyed heavily. The residue got all over my hands and was difficult to get off. The Moss does look good if you soak it for hours and then wring it out. I would just wear gloves for this and let it drain. I do not know if it would be good for use on plants as I don't know if the dye is safe for plants. The package also came looking very small, but once you soak it it bulks up quite a bit. I would not do it how the video says because it was too fiddly and didn't look as good.

Excellent product if you deal with it properly
This is great, natural moss! Put the little brick of it in a container with some water, I drained it twice and added fresh just because the water got so green. Then I squeezed out some of the water and spread it on a piece of cardboard covered with paper towels and since the weather was nice I put it outside to dry mostly then brought it inside the garage to dry completely overnight. Now it's in the intended pot and it looks awesome!! Others have mentioned the smell; if you've ever been in a rainy, wet forest or on a dock by the sea you'll recognize the smell. It was strong when preparing the product which was one reason I put it outdoors to cure. It's indoors and dry now in my living room and I smell nothing and my potted plant looks great. Worked exactly as I wanted!

Great moss filler but pricey.
Great moss filler. The box does not come with any instructions. I tried water spraying and it was taking too long. Also, the product does smell like wet moss once it is wet because it is a natural moss product. Here’s what worked like a charm:1) Fill a sink or bucket with cold water enough to submerge the block of moss.2) Put the moss in the bucket and hold it down under the water with your hand.3) Over the next several minutes, it’ll suck up all the water and expand like crazy. This picture is from only one small brick which will easily fill one pot.4) Add more water if needed.5) Begin gently kneading the moss like you are hand-tossing a green salad lightly pulling and tossing it to fluff it up.6) Let it sit for 10 minutes.7) Drain off the excess water.8) Put down a trash bag on a flat surface.9) Move the wet moss to the flat trash bag and fluff it while spreading it out.10) Let it dry/partially dry overnight.11) Decorate. If it is still moist when putting it in your pot, that’s fine. It’s going to air dry anyway. As long as the moss is not dripping wet, you’re fine.Warning – there is a green dye in the moss. Be careful not to get any of this dye on your clothes or porous surfaces as it may stain.

Need to Add Water then it is a great product
I was so confused when I received this hard little dried up brick of moss. I tried to break it apart, it smelled old and musty. I couldn’t find any instructions on what to do with it. Thankfully, somebody left in the reviews to add water. It grows into this huge container of moss. I actually ran quite a bit of water through it, it almost looks like it had food colouring in it so much green was coming out. It has now been drying for a full 24 hours and I just keep fluffing through it. It hardly smells anymore at all, I will wait until it is fully dry before putting it to use. I wish they would include some instructions.

Just add water!
The perfect shade of moss for my projects!!Make sure you wear gloves when soaking in water as some of the dye comes off but it’s expands wonderfully and I have plenty for future projects

Fluffs up a lot, looks good
Once you receive the product, the brick of moss looks really small but you have to sprinkle water on it and fluff it up. It will expand and looks great at the base of trees or for other decorative projects. Good price for the quantity and quality

DIY add water!
I had hoped for already formed 'moss' for a display, BUT I assume water is needed to expand the block of some substance first. I'll keep looking.
