This is an excellent product. Had misjudged due to ignorance GO AHEAD AND BUY THIS
This is a wonderful product, superb value for money, and works really well with no self noise in the gain boost. I had misunderstood and did not know that it needs the Phantom Power 48V for db gain and didnt press the button on my SSL2,thinking Dynamic mics dont need phantom Power. Now that I have learnt otherwise, I have been using this excellent product for several podcast episodes of my awardwinning MVP THe Master's Voice Podcast on MediaBrief.com. A big sorry to the Audio Array guys; my mistake. This prodcut gives you the same value as a 10000-rupee and more fethead or an even more expensive Cloudlifter. Just buy it.

Best Cloudlifter replacement
This is a great product, if you are looking for a Cloudlifter, Go for this blindly, But remember you need Phantom power to power this device, so get one too.

If you are using a dynamic mic. Go for it.
Perfect cloud lifter for your dynamic microphones. Does the job really well without coloring the sound or adding noise. Perfect companion for audio array dynamic microphones, shure SM series mics etc. Go for it.

Nice product.Did thorough testing with my audio interface. Without this amp, I had to drive it max gain (+55db) to drive my dynamic mic, which added a lot of noise to my audio.With this amp, now the signal is relatively clean and at a level I need at just over 70% gain from the interface.You will need an additional XLR cable to connect this amp.

Clean gain on looper pedal
I have a guitar looper that doesn't have great pre-amps for the microphone. This powered it through the phantom power built into the looper and works like magic. It's affordable and I love it.
