Vance 15 X 12 inch Premium Clear Extra Thick 3/8 inch Tempered Glass Cutting Board

we had a granite countertop put in and none of our cutting boards looked good on it - and the wooden ones covered too much of it. on a couple of sights about granite countertops people kept making comments about their clear cutting boards so i ordered this one. it looks great. you're not covering up any of your countertop, it's very sturdy with the little legs and easy to keep clean. everyone who has come to the house to see the new kitchen focused on the cutting board first because it adds to, not takes from the counter. i highly recommend the cutting board and am thinking about getting another one to put next to the stove when i'm cooking, so i'll have a place to put things.

I'm an oil painter and bought it to use as a paint palette. There is no oil paint palette better than glass. It's nice, heavy, and perfectly smooth. I place it on a sheet of white paper for best color mix evaluation. It is not led free so it does have a greenish tint when you look on the edges but it's not thick enough to affect my judgement. It's a breeze to clean, heavy enough to stay put on my table surface, and super gentle on some of my expensive paint brushes.. I know that there are many painters who look for glass cutting boards to use as a paint palette so this review is for using this one as that.

I bought this primarily to avoid covering up my new Silestone counter. It does that plus it's about 3/8" (1 cm) thick, so I expect it to stand up to ordinary kitchen activities. The feet seem fine and the greenish tint mentioned by other reviewers is very slight, I don't have a problem with it. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the idiots who labelled it put a separate UPC label directly on the glass instead of incorporating it into the overall product label. The UPC label has the type of adhesive that never lets go and shreds the label as you try to remove it. I finally had to use a blade to scrape it off and then scrubbed off the remaining residue with a nylon pad.

This is a thick and heavy glass cutting board. After searching everywhere, glad to find smooth surface glass. The packaging is questionable and the first board came broken into a thousand pieces (inside plastic sealed bag) and the Amazon return policy made it a breeze to return for a replacement. The second board came intact, doing great with meats/poultry and cleans up quick. It is very heavy, but not an issue for me. I appreciate the heft of it.

This cutting board is lovely, but it just shattered into a million pieces while in place on my kitchen counter. Really scary and really dangerous. I'd like to get it replaced but apparently (according to Amazon) it's too late for a refund or replacement. Not happy, glass all over the kitchen and I daren't even touch it.

I wanted something to put on the counter next to my stove, both to use as a cutting board and to hold the occasional hot pot or serving dish. But I was tired of the look of my former cutting board which, although totally functional, didn't let my counter top show through, and somehow made me feel as though I had less counter space. I LOVE this Clear Elite Cutting Board. It's heavy, stays put, looks great, and is totally functional. Expensive, but worth it.

It arrived missing two of its cushioning feet so it wobbled a lot on the counter; it is Very thick and heavy so there is absolutely nothing unobtrusive about it; and the glass is distinctly green so it does not the provide the clear view of the counter it is supposed to provide. It was just sitting there on my counter like a big chunk of green glass, wobbling every time I touched it. It arrived today and it is heading back to its homeland tomorrow.

Great quality, looks terrific in my newly updated kitchen. I'm just not used to the sound of the glass when I am cutting on it.
