The kids at my son's birthday party had a blast excavating these eggs! I chose this specific set because I liked how the chisels didn't look dangerously sharp, which was extremely important for me as all of the kids participating were quite young. The dinosaurs themselves had more of a silly and toyish look to them, rather than being overly realistic, but each of the cards included an image of the actual toy on it, which made it easier for the kids to identify the dinosaurs they digged up. Definitely recommend!

My nephew had fun with this his mom not so much lol. I guess it got pretty messy. Oh well at least he had fun 😅

there are 12 dino eggs in this kit so each kid can work on their own. Whats great about this is that it also comes with 12 tools so you don't have to worry about any kid not being able to work on their egg. I found the dino cards really nice in that it provides some information on each of the dinosaurs that each of the kids may find. Very fun, informative and entertaining.

Our son loves dig toys and this did not disappoint! It has eggs each with a different little dinosaur inside. The kids find it so fun. It is messy though so doing it outside is recommended. Fun for a gift too!

Got these for my nephew. He is 7 and loves little projects like this. I wish the tools for digging were a little bigger and sturdier, he was able to break several of them easily while digging. However, the eggs were not easy to get into and served their purpose of being a fossil dig! The dinosaurs inside are tiny and he didn’t really play with them, but he loved digging for them and the fact cards that came with it. I would recommend using your own tools for digging.

I ordered these for my treasure box at work. The boys have LOVED them. They arrive looking kind of like rocks that are shrink wrapped. You crack them open and there is a mini-dinosaur inside. They also come with a tiny brush for each dino egg and a package of identification cards so you can ID what kind of dinosaur "hatched" from each egg. These have been a hot item in my treasure box ever since I got them! Would also be great in an easter basket or even in a goodie bag as party favors.
