Sturdy mount surface.
I use these as a base for mounting water hose holders on my garage. Nice clean look.

Not designed correctly for vinyl siding.
The gap around the perimeter for siding to fit in is too wide. Siding j channel won’t leave this much gap. Why didn’t they match j channel dimensions?

I used the meter base mounting block to mount an 8in range hood exhaust cap on our vinyl siding.

Great for electrical meter mount
This is a great product. Very thick material and just the right size for mounting my electrical meter onto. Makes it look really clean and neat on the outside of the house with new vinyl siding
