CariFree Fluoride Free Gel Mint (Pack of 1)

I use this now instead of the CTx-4 which has fluoride. I use this product at night. Interesting that tooth has a smooth, after a dentist visit smooth. I found this product when I was specifically looking for a enamel repair/re-mineralization. I found years ago that that Sensodyne brand toothpaste did not relieve my tooth sensitivity but in fact heighten my tooth sensitivity. I tried Fluoride gel year ago also, which eliminated my tooth sensitivity for long durations. When I moved, my new dentist introduced me to MI-paste, which did not really eliminate my tooth sensitivity, but was a bit messy to apply. I fell out of favor of Fluoride as a regular topical treatment of teeth, although effective at aiding in re-mineralization tooth enamel and as an anti-cavity property, there is research that supports alternative methods for re-mineralization and preventing tooth carries. I have two regular dental checkups and cleanings a year. I have had no carries. The primary concern have been a receding gum line.This is one part of my oral hygiene that includes soft bristle, electric toothbrush (the brush does the work, avoids aggressive or excessive force which contributes to receding gum line), brushing/floss at least twice a day, I use a non-fluoride Trade Joe's toothpaste, Oral B complete satin tape (ribbon floss) and GUM brand soft picks. I have found my cold sensitivity has been greatly reduces and I have found visually my gums instead of receding for years have begun after using this regiment for 6 months. My dentist introduced me to Gum picks at my last visit. I am not a dentist. My personal review of CTx3 as well as my explanation of my oral hygiene regiment should not replaced research or dental visits.

I like the toothpaste. Taste, action, aftertaste. But we are not here for fun and games. We are here to fix or keep our teeth! I did a good bit of research and like the ingredients in the product. I would buy more of the product line except that most of it contains fluoride. Please, give us a choice! The science is not all on the side of fluoride and it has side effects over time.besides which I already have added fluoride in other products I use. The company sent an excellent small book with the toothpaste that I am still slowly digesting. I searched for online articles and read quite a few. I wish I had had the book which covers all the topics in a logical manner It is a bit technical, but that is what I wanted in trying to recover from a a bad situation with my teeth.

So although I don't use this exact formula anymore, it's still a 5star product. I got this originally because I thought I wanted to stay away from fluoride (some told me fluoride was bad for you), however after using this CTx3 (no fluoride) instead of the CTx4 (which does come with fluoride), I noticed my teeth start to suffer again. Well then I did more research, talked with a dentist and an oral surgeon, both whom I trust, and they told me fluoride is just fine, but did also tell me the dangers of excessive fluoride swallowing, and well for my case, I switched back to CTx4 which does indeed have the fluoride, and it has helped out my mouth tremendously.

Been searching for a non floride toothpaste without tea tree oil. Finally found one. This has a nice spearmint flavor. Will buy again.

My gums were hurting but my dentist recommended this toothpaste. I know it’s expensive but you don’t need much to brush your teeth. My gums feel find. Went away for the night and forgot to pack my toothpaste and boy did I pay the next day.
