Nice but can't use your remote septum
I bought this in hopes it would be easy to use to remove septum. I'm a girlie with long nails and I have the hardest time changing rings. I really thought this would be my cure all .. I think it's a decent tool and I'll definitely use it In the future.

Well made and precise!
As described these are high quality, well made ring opening pliers. I’m using them to open little jump rings and chain links for jewelry making, and they should be perfect. Precise tips and outside grooves to hold rings will make them indispensable. Buy these. Don’t buy inferior knockoffs!

Exactly what I needed!
I was peirced with a surgical steel hoop and that was STUCK in there for 8 YEARS. I tried everything I had to get it out and the ball wouldn't budge. This took care of it immediately. I like that you squeeze to open it, making handling much easier and it has a narrow tip with grooves to really grip the ring. A freakin life saver!

Opening pliers
Worked great. So well that I over-opened my rings and needed the closing pliers.

great for removing tiny clicker earrings
I have 14G small diameter clicker rings I put in my industrial piercings. The rings snap closed too tightly to remove with just my fingers. This tool is heavy duty, solidly made, and really does the job.

Too big for captive ball septum rings
The pliers are too big for the intended purpose of removing my captive bead septum ring. The needle nose tips are too large to fit comfortably between my nose and the inside of the ring to open it. I would suggest finding a smaller pair of pliers if this is what you need them for. Otherwise, they are good quality & I’m keeping this pair for other (non-facial jewelry) projects.
