Double Sided Keyless Door Knob Lock with Fingerprint and Keypad, Smart Doorknob with Dual Cylinders for Exterior or Interior Door(Double Sided Fingerprint Matte Black)

I bought two of these double-sided fingerprint door locks for two doors that I wanted to keep my two toddlers from opening, but still allowed everyone else to enter and exit easily. Very easy to install and to operate. The fingerprint reading is better than the ones I have on my other doors. One of the locks did stop working properly after about 6 weeks, but customer service was excellent, helped me troubleshoot the lock, and sent a replacement within a couple of days. I know it’s a big investment for this type of lock, and having that kind of customer service and support made it much more worthwhile.

Always check the is locked if your have a child that wonders. Or install door little chain lock. I bought this in Jan 2024, and today March 2025 I had the first ever issue where the lock was stuck in the inside allowing opening the door without the code or fingerprint. it was not locking, you can hear the beep but no mechanical sound at all. But I am still give it 5 star because after opening and putting WD40 through the key hole, and inside the mechanism, it started working again very smoothly. The outside was OK, that is the actual one that is more exposed to the elements, but the inside was the one stock. It tells me that maybe it will get a recall or a new version will come up pretty soon because this issue should not happen. Thankfully it was detected and nothing happened. I am just sharing to advise others.

10/20/2024:I like this lock and decide to buy a second one (wrong manual again, but I did download the correct one). Some posters complain about short batteries' life; I will have to wait a while to confirm. Fingerprint feature is working perfectly. I did not experience issue that it unlocks by itself as other posters' complaint. It is pricey, but it does work.-----------------------------------It works great for what it is intended for. Installation is easy if you have a helper, otherwise, it is not easy to hold one side of the lock while trying to feed the wire through the opening and finding/securing bolts to the plate. After that, everything was straight forward. Another complaint is this model is a fingerprint type but the manual comes without instruction on how to register a fingerprint. I looked again and again but could not find anything with "fingerprint" on it. There is not much document to miss anyway. I couldn't find any help on Youtube either. I finally chatted with a tech support on its official web site and it was resolved immediately (with a correct manual). I didn't need to contact technical support at all if the correct manual was shipped with the device. Anyway, the lock is awesome and I will buy a few more. My family feels safer knowing that thieves will have to break the door (not just the glass on the door) to get inside of our home.

UPDATE - After contacting manufacturer I was told no warranty on anything after 1 year including finish - even though it states in writing it has a limited lifetime warranty on finish. Scumbag junk peddlers from China. However, they were very sorry that their products are trash... DO NOT BUY!I purchased 5 of these locks January of 2024 they were installed in late March of 2025. Within 4-5 months these started to have issues. First thing was all 5 had some sort of membrane peel off of the fingerprint sensors. Next was the paint finish started to peel and flake off. Next they would start to beep and flash randomly. I contacted the seller and was asked to provide serial numbers and pictures of the issues and I complied. They were only willing to replace one of these locks and if I had any other issues I needed to deal with the manufacturer in China directly. I was told only one year warrantee on electronics and no warrantee on paint finish was mentioned. These are expensive at $169 and should last for far more that 1 year. After the one replacement was received I asked what about the other 3 units that needed to be replaced but they would no longer respond to the messages. I gave the seller multiple chances to do the right thing but no more replies were received. Hopefully Amazon will get involved and stand up for their customers. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, SO IF YOU PURCHASE THESE, YOUR MAKING A BIG MISTAKE.

Works really well. People are impressed when they come over and see this lock. I got it for my daughter who is on the spectrum and she is an elopement risk. It has keys, a passcode and a fingerprint. There are many ways to get in if one way fails. It hasn’t so far and I’ve had it almost a year. Same batteries too!

This item fit my needs perfectly. My father has Alzheimer's and is prone to wondering. I needed a way to have a keyless lock for entering and leaving and this fit the bill. Only a few issues:Fingerprint reader can be a bit finicky.Motor mechanism seems to struggle at time. Sometimes it ties, but does not unlock, even with fresh batteries.You are supposed to be able to have the inner and outer lock be synced or separate with regards to codes and fingerprints, but I can't seem to get them to sync, so I have to enter codes/fingerprints separately. (Could be user error)Programming is a bit cumbersome. I wish it had bluetooth or wifi to help with this as well and to access it remotely.
