Perfect scooter helmet
Great fit and protection for our son who rides his scooter.

Best helmet for the price
This is the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. Usually it's a bummer to have to wear a helmet, but this helmet is different. It looks cool, super lite weight, and you don't sweat in it. Very breathable it's like it isn't even on. You forget it is.

Runs small
I have the L/XL and despite wearing a large in every other helmet (I ride bikes and ski so own a lot) the L/XL Triple 8 is really tight even with the thinner padding. Feels very secure but doesn't allow for any breathability so even in winter I get a good sweat going, not sure it will work when it's above 50. Helmet seems sturdy, the buckle is good and it's nice and low profile so I can't knock too much off because it runs small. If you wear a M in every other helmet get the L/XL of this. If you are a large in other helmets it will work but will be tight and if you wear a XL you'll have to find something else.

Amazing!
So comfortable with the pads and love that I can remove them to wash them! I feel very safe and protected

Great fit, though sizing may be understated
I got this to use with a skateboard I recently purchased. My other helmet is a Giro Syntax with Mips. You can easily dial in the fit with that, so I've been used to that. With this Triple Eight helmet, the padding for XL wound up being the right fit, despite my measurement and assumption Large would have been correct. If you're unsure of the sizing, I'd probably try it on locally or just expect you may need a larger size. That said, it is plenty light, but tough. No falls yet, hopefully nothing serious to come, but it meets my need. Time will tell if the pads stay in long term, only real issue I've seen in reviews.

Will save you some literal headaches
I've always had a hard time when it came to finding a helmet that fit correctly. So, when I saw a video of Tony Hawk claiming this was the best fitting and effective helmet he's ever used, I was sold. And, I'm happy to saw that Mr. Hawk was speaking the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It's lightweight, breathable, and comfortable but also extremely tough, as I've taken some pretty heavy knocks, including an 8ft fall to the side, and walked away with just a few moments of light dizziness as opposed to getting knocked out and ending up with a concussion. I've been using this helmet pretty much every day for the past 5 months for both cycling and skateboarding, and it feels as if you're wearing a baseball cap with the durability of a hardhat. It's on the more expensive side of things, but you're definitely getting what you pay for and then some. Can't recommend it enough!
