We got this to watch videos my mom had from years ago. Very well made and works perfectly. It does require batteries that do not come with it, just F.Y.I. I highly recommend.

This item broke after only 4 transfers. However, vendor refunded promptly. A similar purchase from another vendor also broke after 4 uses. These inexpensive motorized VHS adapters seem cheaply made. FYI, a used, non-motorized adapter was my solution!

Worked okay for about 6 tapes, then jammed the 7th one and had no choice but to bust it open to retrieve the tape. Looked like some of the internal parts snapped inside. Really disappointed. Was very careful inserting the tape into device making sure that the tape expanded with out any issues.

As advertised. Worked well with my old tapes. Great speed for delivery.

Unlike the original unit, fitting the small cartridge into this player is a challenge. It is not a drop in, but a struggle in, but it works and that is what matters.

This adapter works very well. I had many old tapes that I had no idea what was on them and no way to view them. This allowed me to play them on our old VCR without any problems.
