Anxiety Relief
I first received Petzlife @ Ease Calming Gel when my Japanese Chin, Simon, won the 2015 Petzlife Best Smile Contest. His picture appeared in the Petzlife ad in the 2015 summer edition of the Modern Dog magazine.Simon received a year's supply of Petzlife products and the calming gel was one of the included items.I have other Japanese Chin and one has terrible anxiety to rain and thunderstorms and separation anxiety (Chandler). I experimented with a thundershirt and while that helped a little, Chandler continued to tremble and panting whenever he was anxious.I initiated the Petzlife Calming Gel one night as thunderstorms were approaching. I kept administering it every time there was rain or storms and it has been a godsend. Usually Chandler stops shaking and panting within 15 to 20 minutes of administration the gel. He does get a little sleepy but that's OK. I should also mention that Chandler goes to the chest of drawers where I keep the dog supplies and waits for the gel when he senses a storm is coming. He loves the peppermint taste and will lick it right off of my fingers.While nothing will take Chandler's anxiety diagnosis away it's such a relief to have a quality product that gives him such relief.

@Eaze for Pets and Humans
It may not work for all, but for our Shih Tzu, it's allowed us to get more rest. Now I'll be clear that during bad thunder, he still paces, but he's more consolable. We found its best to anticipate the thunder and medicate him before the first of the rumbling begins. If I had to put an effective percentage on it, I'd say 60% improvement for storms if administered right. However, there's another benefit we've found and that it's just a great sedative when he gets a scratch frenzy sometimes or acts like he's got a headache and is just restless. Putting the recommended 1/4tsp on his tongue (which doesn't suck to him), he calms down within 10 mins and goes to sleep. Only if something natural like this was that effective for peeps. I'd rate it's effective in these cases at 95%.

Surely effective. Just not for our dog.
This product was recommended to us by our veterinarian for our senior dog who was extremely agitated and acting as though he was having an anxiety attack. I would like to say that it helped him, but it did not. This was not the products fault. After this, he was on diazepam and that didn’t help either.

This seems to work. We use it right before taking dog to the groomer. My dog's metabolism is fast, so it works just long enough to get his nails done, with one dose. Granted, nothing will work if owner/handler isn't calm about the situation, but this helps.

It's a natural substance, easy and safe to use.
It's a natural substance, easy and safe to use, highly recommended. It helps promote a restful relaxed state without causing reduced alertness.But, the 4.5 oz bottle doesn't last and it's not cheap.

New company discontinued this great product
This really helps my cat with severe over grooming issue and my dog with epilepsy. Now, a new company took over and will no longer mate this product!

Seems to work...
We have a very high strung dog that is afraid of loud noises. We got this to help her get through thunderstorms and fireworks. We mixed it will a little pumpkin and she ate it right up. I wouldn't say that this is a miracle cure - but it did seem to calm her down. We will continue to use it and see how it goes.

This stuff is great I use it for my dachshund because we have a rude neighbor that scares him with noise.
