I heard about these on a YouTube channel. I have an anti theft purse with clips for the zippers, but my carry on and personal item have normal zippers. I got these to help me feel more secure when traveling, especially when my carry on, which is a Rick Steves backpack, ends up being checked. I've never had an issue with the backpack, but many's the time I collected it at baggage claim with the zipper just a little open and it seems like one day, it'll completely open on me! These little clips worked great on my bags during my last trip! Even when my backpack ended up being checked at the gate, the zipper was pretty much closed when I picked it up. These clips don't lock, just help keep your zippers closed and make your bag just that much more difficult to open in order to deter a casual thief. If someone was determined they could totally get in your bags. But this might encourage them to go for an easier target.

One mini carabiner has a hinge that doesn't have a stronger spring to it. I am unsure if it will perform correctly, so I don't know if I will chance using that one. Unfortunately, the color of that hinge is the color I needed most. Otherwise, they are good. Pay attention to the size. They are small, but that's what I wanted.

For my trip to Italy, I wanted to secure the zippers on my luggage and also I wanted to clip my wallet inside my purse (it had a metal ring attached).I felt peace of mind with these sturdy clips adding a little extra security. This is not an anti theft product, but it help make it harder for pickpockets!

These are pretty nice, as far as tiny carabiner-like clips go. I got them specifically to replace a zipper pull on a cheap hoodie, but unfortunately the zipper body on that hoodie had a smaller open area than normal, so the replacement pull doesn't flop around freely, but rather sticks in the position you leave it. No big deal, but be aware that if your zipper looks smaller than normal, this clip may be too thick. Other than that, I'll probably use the others as tiny carabiners for keychains, etc.

The little hooks look great and was clasping it to the zipper pull and the entire piece just snapped in half. Thought it may be a fluke and tried it again with another piece and the same thing happened. Wish I never bothered
