Ridge MagSafe Wallet
I was hesitant to purchase the MagSafe model due to mixed reviews on magnet strength, etc. After finally getting my hands on one and trying it for myself, I can say the magnetic strength is totally sufficient for the majority of people using it with an iPhone with a MagSafe compatible case. I am using it with 6 cards currently, along with a couple of bills. If you hold onto the wallet and aggressively shake it, sure, the phone will disconnect. However, I think this shouldn’t be a measure of quality. The purpose of this product is to provide a method of attaching your wallet to your phone, and isn’t to attach your phone to a wallet. I think the strength is the sweet spot between making it very user-friendly to detach the wallet quickly when you need to access your cards, as well as holding it security to the back of your phone. It is more than sufficient at supporting the weight of the wallet without concern, which I think is the purpose of a MagSafe wallet. It is a high-capacity wallet that has been around for years, and now has the added functionality of MagSafe. If you are not comfortable with the standard magnetic strength, but don’t want to use the included strengthening tray, it also comes with a MagSafe ring that you can add to your case without changing the form factor of the case. I don’t see this discussed much, but I did not even find this necessary. My only complaint is that it is definitely pricey. I had some Amazon credit to use, and I have no regrets. I hope this review can answer some of the questions I had regarding this product prior to purchasing.

Great wallet from Ridge!
I absolutely love this minimalistic wallet design! The color is great, and has held up well over the last couple of months. It works well with my iPhone while using MagSafe, and doesn’t detach etc. It’s easy to get cards in and out, although I only have 4 that I carry. If you carry quite a few more cards it may be a little less exciting as it nearly requires you to remove all of them to get at one in the middle. The RFID blocking works very well, and to be honest almost too well LOL! I have an RFID work badge I was used to carrying in my old wallet and just walking into the card reader with no issues. This wallet does not allow this! I even attempted putting my card under the money clip, and it still requires me to partially slide it out in order to get my badge to scan. This is the idea of it though I suppose, so I can’t really complain! The price is a little steep for just a metal wallet, but the quality is on point. It also comes with extra hardware for it in the event you were to lose a screw. I would recommend if you’re not on a super tight budget.

You get what you pay for!
I bought the Ridge wallet first. I didn’t love it and couldn’t justify $100 for it when there were seemingly identical options for much less. So I returned it and bought this Mountain Voyage Co version. It really is identical in appearance! That’s about it. The feeling is cheaper overall. The elastic band isn’t as nice and there was missing the silicone band to grip bills. After having the Ridge I felt it was worth the extra money and regret returning it. I may not purchase another minimalist wallet as I’m not sure they are for me but my advice would be to get the premium option for something you carry and use everyday.

Have “Ridge” wallet will travel!
Nice product; had purchased the same wallet without magsafe a few years ago, and it still holds important cards, but ones that I do not use on a regular basis. I purchased a new wallet with MagSafe to attach to my cell phone for easy carry. It does it well.

Perfect minimalist wallet
I’ve considered buying a ridge wallet for at least a year. Wallets have been a “Do I really need this” purchase for me. Finally opted to buy the ridge wallet and I love it. Photos don’t do the burnt titanium justice, looks much nicer in person. Clean and sleek, money strap with MagSafe was everything I wanted. Can’t recommend enough, definitely worth the money.

Great wallet for the price! Perfect gift for him.
Great wallet, highly recommend— the perfect gift. I got this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. The wallet is super compact and slick looking. It holds as many cards as you need it too, and also comes with a money clip. It looks so much sharper than his old wallet and is high quality. Great wallet for the price.

5 Years and Still Going!!
I've had plenty of wallets and card carrier things and let me tell you guys this one to me has been the longest lasting. One of the reasons I bought this was because I'd seen a bunch of ads and I thought sure I'll try it. At first it took some getting used to but after my adjustment period, I organized my cards how I usually use them and ever since I've never had problems with it. It may not be for everyone because you do sacrifice the amount of cash but since I tend to not carry much on me, I was fine. Had it for 5 years now and I've only replaced the band one but was thinking of getting a titanium one soon, hope this was helpful for someone out there!
