I was skeptical when a friend suggested this to me, but it's being surprisingly effective. I've managed to taper my sleeping med to 1/3 of the prescribed dose, with a goal of getting completely off the stuff. One thing I noted in particular with Magnesi-Om is that my sleep as recorded by my Apple Watch seems to be much more continuous. I still wake up to pee, but in between those episodes, I'm seeing continuous, solid sleep vs lots of little interruptions. Recommended.

This is an electrolyte that actually tastes good. It also works to reduce muscle cramps and is calming before sleeping It is a bit pricey but worth the money for me.

**BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT!**I was so hoping this would work for my sleep deprivation caused by peri/menopause.And, it did help me sleep. Helped me not only fall, but stay, asleep.But -- OMG! My body was under siege for 2 full days with nausea, terrible bloating/cramping (I'm not kidding when I say it felt like I was carrying a baby by how bloated I was), explosive diarrhea and the worst headaches of my life that I couldn't shake (and I get migraines!).Luckily, I work from home so I could be house-bound for these days while actually contemplating buying Depends because it felt like my digestive system would never be right again.Let me also say -- I'm not someone with a sensitive stomach. I have regular BMs and can eat pretty much everything without getting gassy/bloated/upset stomach. I've NEVER had such a terrible experience with a supplement and, honestly, I've never thought to research a supplement before taking it (my bad, won't do that again).Now, I will ALWAYS read the negative reviews and listen differently.This was one of the most horrible supplement experiences of my life and I will look elsewhere for sleep remedies.While Amazon would not refund me, Moon Juice did once I gave them my Amazon order #. I just received this; and, I’m not impressed by the taste. It is not bad or nasty; but, it isn’t something I can see myself drinking every night. I’m still working on forcing down my first glass. I’m hopeful that the relaxation benefits kick in quickly once I finish drinking it. Perhaps then, my opinion might improve. One of the major disappointments “off the bat” is that it does not come with a servings sized scoop. Sure, I have my own teaspoon at home; however, what if I wanted to take the product while traveling? Given the high price, the fact that a serving scoop was not included is a real faux pas and automatically gives the brand a bad look.9/14/2023 Update: I’m still unimpressed by the effectiveness. The “Calm” brand is a more economical alternative. One advantage this product has over Calm is that it tastes healthier. I suspect Calm has more chemicals; and, this product seems to limit synthetic additives. I don’t know if I will buy it again but am getting used to the relaxing ritual of sipping a glass of it before falling asleep. I have always fallen asleep quickly. I just wake up frequently during the night. Taking this product has had no impact on that. It does reduce my stress level before dozing off to sleep but other magnesium powders do too. Overall, I maintain my 3-star rating of the product. It will just boil down to individual preference; so, if curious, I do recommend that you try it & make your own judgement.
