Works okay but I was expecting it to be all medal but the device that holds the gears is plastic.

Worked great for a year or so. I do not open a lot of cans so expected it to last longer than this.

Came to this page because I wanted to return it but found out out I was just past the deadline. Too bad for me. This can opener does not open up cans, which kind of defeats the purpose. Something is off and the handles over-extend which does not allow the can to be opened. I would go elsewhere. It does at least look nice, but not functional.And the list price of $70 but "marked down", come on. What a joke.

i was using this can opener the wrong way and it sucked, then my boyfriend showed me to flip the blade part to the outside rim of the can and now it works fine. very pretty too! i just never heard of a can opener working that way so who knew!HINT: if the handles are bending when you open cans, you are using it wrong.

I should have posted this earlier, but writing a review about a can opener is not really on the top of my to-do list these days. This can opener broke after the second time I used it. It just doesn't align properly and it doesn't open cans.I ended up just going to the store and buying a Kitchenaid.

Actually a really nice can opener. Comfortable to use. It feels sturdy and solid.

Hoped that this one would work well. Nope, it sticks together so hard had to have my son open it back up. Doesn’t grab on or stay on the can we’re opening. Sucks didn’t want to get an electric one but have to now. Bummer!

For a few extra dollars, I have finally found a can opener of quality!
