I give this 5 stars because
Before I go there, I think you need to know that I have purchased both these brand and the ones that have cushioned lids (unnecessary; just looks good, it is not added protections because it's not thick enough to be.) There's a huge diff between the two that you won't notice just by pics.#1 these are sewn together well - esp the bottoms. The bottoms of the cushioned ones are not sewn in. That means the fabric - not the hard shell - is holding the weight of the dishes inside them! When I pick a cushioned one up, the 'hard' piece in the bottom moves on the cushioned ones (all of them) which means it is not attached to the sides! These don't do that. That is #1 because it's huge. Fabric gets old and loses it's strength over time. Just a year or two and they can be weakened enough not to hold anything heavy. It worries me that what is holding the weight of the dishes is the seams in the fabric and not the hard casing. Eventually, I'll have to replace the cushioned ones which, though they're initially less expensive and 'look good', it makes them much more expensive than these.#2 these have handles. The cushioned ones do not. You might not think that's a big deal, I didn't at first, but it is. When picking up the cushioned ones, I have to squeeze the sides or lift from the bottom (which moves the contents and that worries me). These have handles sewn all the way through the fabric and the sturdy stuff. It's also more cumbersome and fiddly to move. If you don't have just the right grip, they could easily be dropped; bye bye dishes.#3 the inserts for the cushioned ones are thin. I've stacked up the inserts for these and the ones that came with the cushioned ones and the ones that came with these are almost twice as thick (much better protection) than the ones that came with the cushioned ones. What I don't like about this set: That stupid silverware/flatware holder. Sheesh. The lid does not attach. what's up with that? I wouldn't even put plastic ware in it unless I wanted them to spill everywhere the moment the lid happened to come up. Did they have an intern design it or what? I used it, instead, for table runners. There's nothing else it's even remotely good for. If it weren't for how well the others are made, I would've taken off a star.I will buy these again. I will not buy any more of the cushioned ones. I may even return the cushioned ones because they worry me.

Good quality for the price
This product was well made for the price point and fit my stemware well that has large round goblets with very long stems. I am very happy and would order again.
