Mizuno Women's Wave Prophecy 13 Running Shoe

Love them

I reordered these in a larger size. They are so stiff they make my feet bleed. I set them aside and now it is too late to return them. I have been running marathons for 25 years and have never had a more stiff shoe to try to break in.it was a waste of money for me.

The sneakers arrived promptly. After opening the box and putting on the sneakers, I stood up and took a walk forward and back across the floor. The fit was like a glove custom fitted to my feet. Prior to purchasing the sneakers, I utilized the size chart connected with the post. It requested to cross reference my current most favorite sneaker size and brand. The chart suggested the Mizuno size and pointed out areas where the Mizuno fit might feel different. I had expected to have some adjustment to the Mizuno sneaker. I can share no problem, adjustment at all. The intent of my purchase was to utilize the sneakers for athletic activities. Frankly the fit has been so wonderful, I have seriously considered wearing them all the time. I did decide to purchase a second pair of Mizuno Wave Prophecy 4 in a different color. I am waiting on delivery as I write this review. In previous years, I had been fitted for Mizuno sneakers, however, they are not commonly found on shelves in stores around my area. I was a bit skeptical to purchase sneakers online anticipating a hassle trying on and returning them if not sized right. I can attest that the size chart was accurate and when using the Mizuno sneakers my feet are so comfortable. I wish the manufacturer designed casual shoes for women. I would most certainly purchase a pair.

I ordered a 9B and when I got them they seem to fit just fine. I started my fitness class and they stretched a little bit and then began to hurt my feet. I just kept thinking I need to break them in but they seemed wide. Then I happen to look at the tag and it said 9W. I should have looked from the get go. I checked on my order and I did order the 9B but it says I cant return them. So disappointed because I paid a lot of money for these shoes and was sent the wrong size and now they are useless at my cost. I have worn Mizuno before and it is a great shoe. I know they would have been perfect if they sent the right ones.

The shoe is very comfortable and lots of cushion in the heal area. It would be perfect if it had a little more cushion in the ball of the foot area because this is where most of my impact is when I run.

Not nearly as comfortable as my first pair of Mizuno's. Odd breathable fabric on the outside makes it unattractive.
