First thing is when you turn on the device by sliding the switch up the power led doesn't stay on. Secondly to find the device you would need to press Fn and C at the same time for the keyboard to start pairing so you can find it. This is no where in the instructions that say this and after spending hours trying to figure it out I was 2 seconds away from sending it back. I hope this saves someone the time if they decide to buy this.The keyboard randomly becomes unresponsive which is annoying. The only reason it is at a three-star review is because I only use it when watching videos on tv that's being mirrored by my laptop. I watch TV from bed and I don't always want the laptop in the bed with me when mirroring it to the TV. I know it's not supposed to be used on laptops but I just wanted a backlit keyboard so I can see it in the dark. It becomes unresponsive pretty consistently so I can imagine it would be very annoying to use if you weren't just using it to navigate websites to watch videos like I do.

This bluetooth keyboard was easy to connect to my Galaxy S7 tablet. I don't think I needed to read the instructions to figure it out. My tablet already has a case keyboard but this really only works with the tablet in landscape and the tablet has to be physically connected to the keyboard. This bluetooth keyboard gives me the freedom to have a keyboard that does not have to be physically connected to the tablet. So I'm able to use the keyboard on my lap while the table is sitting in portrait or landscape on a stand. The trackpad is useful if you can't reach the tablet screen to navigate. But I find that sometimes I end up triggering the touchpad while typing so I'm having to be careful to not accidentally touch it while typing. The keys are just a bit on the small side, just a bit smaller than the keys on my OEM Samsung keyboard. I would have liked this to be just that little bit bigger since the size of the keyboard doesn't have to relate to the size of the device like a case keyboard would. That would have made this just that little bit easier to type with. But this is still much better to type on than an on screen touch keyboard that also eats up screen real estate. If the keys were just a bit bigger and the touchpad a little further away from the keyboard then this would have been 5 stars.

I’ve only had this keyboard for a couple days, but I would say I’ve used it for maybe 10 hours. To connect it to my iPad I had to turn it on and press “Fn + C” that made it discoverable through my iPad as “Bluetooth Keyboard 5.0”. After I connected it, I got a notification that said something like “Using this Bluetooth keyboard may affect bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity”. In my experience though, my wifi and Bluetooth have been fine and upon further research, the reason for the pop up is because of the touchpad with my IPad Pro 12.9” 4th gen. The touchpad works great and is very fast I actually had to go into my settings and lower the speed. The backlights are bright with a dimmer option available, the buttons are small but I have pretty chubby fingers and glide easily over them without touching two button at the same time. I was surprised how light this keyboard was and I love that it’s also metal on the bottom so it sticks strongly and easily on my magnetic folio case I have on my iPad. I will definitely be recommending this to others!

First off, the instruction manual is as clear as mud on what to do. The English is broken even worse than many Chinese products; second I can find no clear instructions for adding this keyboard to a Windows computer. The instructions for iOS and for Android are reasonably clear.I am far from a whiz-bang computer tech but have been working with computers since the days of CP/M and Z80 processors. I know my way around getting Bluetooth devices to talk with each other. I tried everything I could think of, and followed one step in the booklet where I THINK I am hitting the right keys but the print and the key illustrations are tiny.I am returning this. I didn't expect high quality, but it would have served my needs well for the purpose for which it was intended. My advice is try something else.
