MUCH better than a cone!
Excellent product. We hated the cone that the vet provided. Our dog hated it and the cone seemed to bump into everything and it seemed obvious that it was stressing him out. He looked depressed when wearing it.From our perspective, our dog in the cone caught on too many things, including our legs (scratching us up a bit). it was also fairly loud when it hit things. The PetNLife collar solved all the problems and our dog seemed to possibly even like having it on. It was like a pillow for his head when he laid down. It didn't catch on anything like the cone would. It didn't make any noise at all. My wife and I didn't get our legs scratched whenever the dog walked by us. Unlike other collars, the PetNLife doesn't have a belt that extends from the collar to behind his front legs. This was great because the dog needed the collar because he was recovering from surgery. The belt would have rubbed on the sutures and the incision, which obviously would not have worked for us. The collar wont come off because it is secured to our dogs daily collar.

Game changer!
I have a 50 lb, 7 month old GSD who just got spayed. Based on the previous reviews I read about this product I was skeptical yet remained hopeful. I knew my dog would NOT tolerate the cone. This product has been wonderful for Oakley but I can see how other dogs could reach the inscision site. She did try one time and came very close but I almost feel like she’s not as flexible as some other breeds. I’ve been watching her very close and she hasn’t made any more attempts. I love how she’s still able to play with her chew toys, sleep, eat, and drink normally with this product on compared to the cone. For size reference I purchased a size large.

Works Well on Corgi
The large size was too big, but the medium works well on our three-year-old Corgi. I like that it has adjustable straps and a snap connector rather than Velcro on Velcro. It effectively keeps her from licking a spot on her fore paw. She's not crazy about it, but it works okay, stays inflated, and really beats a cone. Matter of fact, she looks kinda cute in it. The only problem is that we have to use a lint roller periodically on the velour, but that's more the fault of a double-coated Corgi than the device.

BEST PROTECTION
the vet sent my dog home in those big plastic cones. he could not lie down, couldn't eat and could not smell around outside to go potty without tearing up grass or getting stuck in the ground. this collar saved my sanity and the dog was finally able to lie down and sleep and eat. he then used it for a pillow. the fit was really good also.

It works!
My 12 year old Retriever mix has been licking obsessively at his chest and the other collars no longer kept him from doing so. This collar works-he doesn't like it, but he hasn't been able to destroy it. It is a bit challenging to inflate, initially, and collects a lot of shed hair, but it's worth it to keep him from licking the sore he created. Plus it is sturdy enough to keep him from destroying it as he has other Elizabethan collars!

This worked GREAT!
This worked great after my dog's surgery! My poor dog was banging into just about everything with the plastic e-collar, and I felt terrible about having to use it. This one though? - it's like my dog was walking around with his own pillow! I know that he didn't mind having this collar on, and he may have even enjoyed it because he had his own pillow wherever he went. :)

dog and pups keep breaking and chewing
I have purchase 5 or 6 of these types of collars. None of them survived. The dog/pup was able to bite and chew them. The last one I had didn't last 5 min on his neck.
