This item is advertised as being made of pure South Korean silk - the item I received is pure POLYESTER and is marked as such on the packaging. BEWARE.

Looks better in Amazon than in reality
It was inexpensive and looks so. Also, the color is dark brown, but looked like it was blue. That was not disclosed. It simply said something like "Color is as shown." Don't purchase if you want a first class looking ascot.

ASCOT LENGTH 8 INCHES TOO SHORT,...AT LEAST!
The ascot is very attractively designed in terms of material and style. However, the reason it was returned is because it's too short in length. If it had been at least 50 inches in length, I would have liked it much better!
