Some of the jokes are pretty good, but jokes about flats, mince pie, and breakfast tea just aren't going to land for US children. I also feel like they are somewhat above an 8 year old level, and I think my 8 year old is smarter than average.

Cute jokes but some are too hard for the generation to understand.

I bought this to entertain my 8-year-old granddaughter on a vacation trip. This gave us hours of fun! I highly recommend.

My son ran around the house cracking jokes with everyone that he saw. Then took it to the DMV with me and told jokes in the waiting room. This brought joy to a lot of ppl.

Although full of jokes (obviously), they were American; my grandson didn’t understand them as he’s English. Sadly it put him off the book.

This is feedback from my 8 year old granddaughter - she loves it! I would add that in that case it was a good choice; even though I had to pretend not to know some of the jokes but most I hadn't. Not expensive, bought as a wee surprise as I do from time to time...

Bought for a grandson's eighth birthday and it is packed with the silly, daft stuff that eight year-olds love.. Just be prepared to be told silly jokes for weeks to come.

My son read the book out loud in about 1 hour and then said he was going to re-read if over and over again. So that's a winner for me..He had us laughing out loud because he was laughing too. He loves the tounge twisters.

Arrived quick. Present for nephew who loves his jokes and riddles. Some of the jokes so bad should be in Christmas crackers but also super funny and bad but in a good way. Recommend 100%. Liked alot.
