ZAGG Glass Elite iPad Pro 13" (M4) Screen Protector - Tempered Aluminosilicate, 5X Stronger, Smudge-Free, Eco-Friendly, Easy Apply

Difficult to install, does not seem to properly fit the new iPad Pro 13 inch. No cut out for the microphone no cut out for the camera returning for the price.

Besides the design flaw, covering the mic near the front-facing camera. (I’ve owned many iPads and have never had to use the front camera/mic, so I’m good.) The glass seems to be high quality. The installation process (with kit) was great for alignment. BUT you get bubbles even when you followed the instructions properly. It took me forever to “press” them out, more accurately like in, just pressing and pressing until they were gone. If you don’t have patience, you might think the bubbles are impossible to remove—they are not, I did it. But no matter it’s Not good that you have to force them out, not practical. But after, it seemed to look perfect. Two stars because of having to deal the bubbles.Edit: There’s a reviewer who said the front mic no longer exist on this new iPad Pro (M4) model, wrong! Still there, according the Apple support page.

As previously reviewed, this current version blocks the microphone located on the front of the new 2024 iPad Pro 11.Zagg has confirmed as a known issue & stated that a ‘retooled’ version will be made available shortly, perhaps as soon as one week. They advised product be returned for a refund.

Bought three of these to go on three M4 13" iPads. Great packaging, great instructions. Words of caution:DO use the provided wipes even on a brand new out of the box iPad. DO use the tacky tape dust remover strip even after using the wipes - dust will be floating around in your environment. DO double-double-triple check for that last little spec of dust before you place the protector - it WILL create a bubble if you do not. DO push down first from the center as shown and immediately pull the back guide tape off as it starts to adhere. DO expect to have to use the microfiber cloth to gently move bubbles to the closest edge. Try to merge bubbles first - it makes it easier. Do wait 24 hours before you get really upset with tiny non-dust imperfections which will tend to disappear with time. If you have a dust bubble...suck it up buttercup - you own it for the life of the glass.DO NOT return this like a reviewer above if you do not see a notch in the glass for the microphone - why? Because THERE IS NO MICROPHONE ON THE FRONT ANY MORE!!!!!!! This is a solid square piece of glass.I only gave this 4 stars because nobody has yet figured out how to magically eliminate all bubbles when applying one of these things. Is the Glass Elite worth 3x the price of other alternatives on Amazon? All I can say is our grandkids have the cheaper ones, we have already replaced one set, the second set already has hairline cracks, should I have paid 3x??? Time will tell.

Does exactly what it is intended to do. Doesn’t create any apparent issues with the new Magic Keyboard. Application was easy, but there were a lot of bubbles, so anticipate spending time on gently removing them. The applicator tray helps center, but also visually inspect the alignment of the protector against the iPad frame.

screen protector for my new iPad Pro 4 doesn’t have a cutout for the front camera and microphone—it’s completely covering them up. I’m going to send it back because it’s messing with the mic. Can I get a refund for this?

This Zagg screen protector is advertised for the newest iPads, but it isn’t suitable for them. It’s a solid rectangle of glass and would cover the microphone in the middle of the right side of the iPad.

Product looks ok. Missing some pieces but should still be able to make it work. Apparently this was probably a return and someone pulled what they wanted out and shipped it back. At least ZAGG has a replacement warranty.

I bought this screen protector as it is the only one I can find on the market currently (day of iPad release) that is edge to edge and doesn’t have the notch cutout, and was happily willing to pay the extra price for this. Unfortunately, the screen protector doesn’t have a hole cutout for the front facing microphone on the display, rendering it effectively useless. If that microphone is blocked, even if the other two on the side of the iPad are not, using it for voice memos or FaceTime sounds terrible and you can barely make out someone’s voice, so if you’re like me and really hate the notch cutout and are planning on buying it, I would definitely wait until they update the design or someone else brings one to market!
