Saw a friend using it and bought one for myself. Plus and play, your picture viewer that comes with iPhone will recognise the device and ask you whether to import pictures on SD cards or USB drive connected. But you can not export any pictures or files from iPhone to the external memory through this reader, which is a pity.

It justify the spending, I believe.
I bought this for my wife's iPhone so that we can download all of the photos from her camera to our computer and it worked like a charm. We were able to free up a lot of space on her iPhone. Also used it for my iPad and it worked just fine. I was able to charge as well while doing it. I also was able to use my usb drive as well. Very convenient.I also love the fact that this thing is so small and lightweight.

works fine
I previously stated that this item was not compatible with Ipad,air 2 as a message came up stating it was too powerful. This is not the case, I have since discovered the memory card I was using was the problem not the cable, that is now working fine

Random fail
Bought two units for myself and my wifeone unit worked fine transferring photos from SD card to Ipad. Other unit worked once then gave error cannot transfer.tried both units same sd same IpadOne works other doesn't.Returning one and wait and see how long other lasts?

Simple to Use , Good Value , Recommend !
Simple to use and Great Value. Using it with my iPad , No Problems. Would Definitely Recommend this Product !# suggest you keep it in a small box to keep dust out of the ports !

Worked only once!
Worked once. Following that, I tried unsuccessfully to transfer photos. The iPad recognised the device but not the sad card or usb.....don’t bother!

aussi bien ( ou mal ) que l'original
donc comme pour l'adaptateur Apple, il refusera la plupart des clés USB pour des raisons de consommation excessive , donc de ce coté la n'espèrez pas de miracle , c'est une limitation due à l'appareil lui meme , peut etre ca changera sur les prochains ipad/iphone .J'ai aussi essayé d'y brancher une gopro ( hero 5 ) en connexion directe , esperant un transfert de données bien plus rapide qu'en wifi ... ca ne fonctionne pas .En revanche pour l'utilisation qui est prévue : brancher un clavier MIDI : il sera reconnu automatiquement dans garageband ( ou tout soft gerant le MIDI ) ,connecter son appareil photo ( pour ma part un reflex ) pouvoir les importer directement dans sa phototèqueLe tout pour une fraction du prix de l adaptateur apple

Oubliez la lecture des clés USB avec ce lecteur, c'est juste impossible
Testé avec mes deux iphones (6 et 7) et mon ipad pro 12.9 pouces : sur aucun de ces 3 appareils ce lecteur n'a pu ouvrir aucune de mes clés USB indiquant à chaque fois que ces clés réclament trop d'énergie en alimentation.Concernant les cartes il ouvre les dossiers mais ne trouve pas les photos à l'intérieur à importer alors qu'ils proviennent directement de mes appareils reflex !Soit la majorité des commentaires déposés sur ce produit sont bidons, soit mon lecteur a un problème. Archi déçu en tout cas !

Macht, was es soll
Der Kartenleser ist zwar von seiner Anmutung her etwas "klapprig", und sieht ein wenig so aus, als würde er nicht ewig halten, aber er tut genau das, was er soll. SD-Karte rein, einstecken am Lightning des iPads, Bilder importieren. Schnell und einfach, und das für kleines Geld.

Le produit fait le job
En faite ce n’est pas le problème du produit mais de l’iPhone qui ne prend pas en charge les clefs USB. Par contre ça fonctionne très bien avec la lecture de cartes SD, on transfère rapidement et facilement les photos d’un appareil photo par exemple, donc pour cet usage c’est parfait, y compris pour l’iPad

Produit très utile!
Je suis très satisfait de cet achat. Il correspond exactement à mes attentes, c’est-à-dire transférer mes photos de mon appareil photo reflex sur mon smartphone.

Bon produit. Plus besoin d'embarquer mon ordi avec moi je peux enfin traiter mes photos sur mon iphone ou ma tablette. Ca aurait été chouette que le produit permettent aussi de lire des fichiers stocker sur les supports externe sans devoir les télécharger dans l'iphone et la tablette.. Mais bon ce n'est pas sa fonction 1ere à la base... dommage. Sinon assez rapide, je recommande !

Très pratique pour récupérer les photos de la gopro ou appareil photo sur son téléphone. Fait le job
