iPad Air 2 doesn't recognise the external drive and of not of any use. Doesn't do what is advertised.

Works in one iphone not in mine
I ordered this product and it didn't work in my iPhone but worked well in my friends iPhone which is exactly same in all aspects like software version and all. Then I replaced with new one by Amazon ....but story remains same. Not one but last option ...return it .......but surprisingly amount is not yet credited to my bank by Amazon even after 1 month now.

The product plastic box in which the iDrive was packed seems to be old and used. I am not sure if I have received a genuine and new unused product. I have attached pictures of product received, before opening the product.
