when I received it, it was packed very well. It's easy to assemble those wooden pieces up, just by using the Allen screws that is came with this package. One thing I'm not very satisfied with is that the head of the cord. It doesn't match the regular bulb i have, and then i look for more detail info about this lamp and finally find that E12 LED lamp is needed for this lamp, but never mind, I give five stars for this good and interesting design of this lamp.

Love the novelty of these stick figure lamps. Visitors to my home always notice them and comment on them. They are simple to assemble and look great wherever you place them.

The lamp is clever, unique, and easy to put together. The missing star relates to confusion about what type of bulb is needed since no bulb was included. Several reviewers expressed frustration about this issue. I found the right size, installed, and the lamp works very well. I suggest: Albrillo E12 Bulb, Candelabra Light Bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent, Chandelier Light Bulbs, Decorate Candle Base E12 Non-Dimmable, Warm White 2700K 4 Pack. Although I may never need all four bulbs, the price is reasonable and they arrived promptly.

I love, love this lamp. Although it took awhile to put together it was easy and is very well made. It gives off a nice bright but not too bright light. It makes me smile every time I see it!

My 10yr old son loves his new lamp. It was easy to assemble and looks great in his room. Only thing I can say that's at all "negative" is that it requires a special LED bulb to work. No biggie, but make sure you order/buy one ahead of time or you'll be waiting a day or two to turn it on. Would be cool if they made one with rotating arms/legs.

I purchased as a bedside lamp for my son. It caught my eye because it's so unique and fun. I debated on whether or not to purchase because of the price, but went for it anyway. Maybe I failed to read the description thoroughly, but I wasn't expecting this much assembly to be required. The instructions were difficult to decipher. The lamp is larger than I envisioned, but that's not a bad thing! Overall, my son loves it so I'm happy, but I do feel it is overpriced.

I love my man lamp. His name is Rodney. Great purchase. Assembly was fairly easy on my own. Would be a little easier with a helper, but it wasn't difficult. Make sure that when you have him in the position you want, tighten the joints! I left mine a little loose to make it easy to change if I wanted, but I nearly broke it when the joint slid and the shade hit the wall. Keep him tight, and you shouldn't have any problems.

This lamp was very easy to assemble and it’s really unique and funky. The only issue I had was that the top part does not always hold straight and the screws require some repeated reinforcement in order for the lamp to stand erect.
