My son needed a stopwatch to time his own sprints. His watch simply wasn't practical. After searching all the reviews and finding something budget friendly, this turned out to be a perfect choice for us! It works exactly as stated and there are no issues. Times appear to be very accurate. Of course, he needs to drop three seconds, but that's not the fault of the Marathon Stopwatch! Great stocking stuffer for the runner in your life! We could have really used this back in the days of swim team as well!

Used it for the first time today and it performed very well. Good stopwatch, easy to use, has everything I need and more.

Easy to use and you get positive feedback from the buttons along with an audible beep so you know you have pressed them. The only thing I would add to it is a button for a backlight since I usually run when it’s a little dark outside and have trouble seeing. Overall though, it is a great stopwatch.As for the 4 stars and not 5, I do have a story to add. I received my stopwatch on the Jan. 18th 2019. When I took it out of the box I thought it was turned off because the numbers were so faint I couldn’t see them unless I tilted the stopwatch down and towards a source of light. Aside from this, it functioned properly and I’ve used it every day since its arrival. 10 days later (Jan. 28th 2019) I am writing this review. The screen had shut off completely. I thought it might’ve just been defective so I was either going to toss it or return it. I found a small screwdriver set tucked away so I decided to open it and have a look inside before getting rid of it. I removed 4 of the 6 screws before it made a few beeps letting me know it was working. I turned it around, and to my surprise the sreen was clear as day. I didn’t have to tilt it in any odd direction or anything. Everything was easily visible. It’s working better now than it did when it first arrived. The battery must have not been seated properly. I decided to include this just in case others are experiencing the same issue, and to let them know to check the battery before deciding between returning or tossing the stopwatch. Very good like the time on the watch also

Works the same as my previous watch of this type from another brand, so I didn't need to learn anything new about how to work it. Buttons feel more solid than my other one, so it isn't likely that it will skip ahead two numbers while I'm pushing just once, like some of my other ones did. Easier to grip than the others. Lightweight. Came with battery activated. Arrived promptly from Marathon. Update: After less than a year of use, it skips ahead two numbers when I press once (occasionally, but less if I press the buttons carefully.) Also, after a year of use, the alarm would (not too often) go off at the wrong time, so I've ordered another one, and will be using my new one instead of the old one for that reason. I usually use the alarm at least once a day, so it has had heavy use.

I bought this as a gift to use for timing my brother's college swim meets.It's the most amazing stopwatch compared to any of the ones they have! Sooooo much better that all the other judges are jealous. Haha!For these races you need to have multiple timers going… So this one is pretty legit.Right down to the millisecond!

This had a 3 year lifespan. It worked well during the roghly twice a month use I gave it from date of purchase in 2021. Then the start/stop button stopped working, so now I will have to replace it.

Très bon chronomètre, il a remplacé le précédent (dont un bouton ne fonctionnait plus). Malgré l'aspect austère sur les images, il est en fait très sympa. Respire la solidité. Bon rapport qualité/prix, d'autant que ce créneau est peuplé de produits peu satisfaisants, et il m'a fallu deux bonnes heures pour choisir un chronomètre. Marathon Watch est une société canadienne.

If you want to turn-off the alarm depress the upper-left and upper-right button on the same time in normal time mode until it beeps. The alarm icon will disappear, it was not clearly stated in the manual you had to be in normal time mode to turn off the Alarm.
