Introducing my sister to cell phone photography. I'm not sure how she's gonna take to it so I didn't want to spend to much money and I was shocked these worked better than expected. We used it on my sister's android phone and it held on perfectly. I would highly recommend using a thinner case! It has a set amount that it can widen. You want it to be able to hold tight to your phone! It's inexpensive and you get a a case. I've seen some that were more and they didn't provide you with hosing for your lens. It's very easy to use and it does come with a little booklet that gives you some information. You can use this indoors and outdoors! Anywhere where there is bright and harsh lighting, you can use this! The photos that we took with this on the phone were clear and it saved us in settings where we couldn't control the light. My sister is very happy with this and it works perfectly without breaking the bank! It's travel friendly and pretty straightforward when using it.

I like checking out new gear for mobile device photography, so I was interested, when I came across this item, which is a clip-on light filter, for mobile device camera lenses. The effect is pretty dramatic: in a bright room, for example, the light would be more diffuse, whereas there would be a general sense of some boosting of some tones, whereas other aspects of the light are filtered and subdued. It gives a really professional look to digital device imagery, to be certain. Mobile device cameras are notorious for selecting a "wrong" focal point, for example, such as where there are many differently-lit objects within frame; the camera will, oftentimes, constantly "seek" around the frame, to find something to focus on, only to blow out the exposure in other parts of the frame, in many cases. This filter helps offset moments such as that, I'd say. It's hard to believe, somewhat, but that's really all it takes to get good lighting in mobile photography, at least, to some degree. This feels much higher quality than the price would suggest. I am very happy with it. I really wanted an ND filter because I have a dark gray dog that is difficult to photograph outside. A filter like this allows for a wider aperture in bright light which can result in a better picture of a dark dog because you can expose a little bit longer. It also allows for more artistic candids when out playing.It's going to take me some practice, my first shots were only okay but that was due to my inexperience. The portraits I took of my family look so much more artistic than without the filter because I could take them at a really shallow aperture.I really love that it comes with its own little carrying case to keep it safe. Also, I'm curious what other lenses I have that might fit the ring. The clip is very sturdy and the lens feels solid. I feel like this is going to really up my cell phone photo-taking. If you haven't already, I strongly recommend finding an app that lets you take more control over the camera when using a filter like this for maximum impact.

This set makes getting just the right brightness/glare mitigation perfect. The variable filter has 0-100 filtering for mitigating glare or flares on your pictures. The clip works great and clamps just fine while keeping your screen visible. The variable filter is easy to manage though the label was wrong on the side that shows MAX and MIN. I’ll have to use a white sharpie to mark the real scale as the label was wrong for the orientation of the lens. You can also put on any number of other 52mm lenses you may have. I had a kit for my other camera that lets me put on tons of other filters/lenses. Case is awesome and keeps everything contained and safe. Do some reading on how to properly use filters if you’re not familiar to get the most out of this set. The included cover keeps your lens safe and it snaps right in!
