SOME FACTS/DETAILS:This lighted tweezers have a slanted tip. They have two semi-soft black grips, one on both sides. The button was covered with a plastic ring so it did not get pushed accidentally in transport. The black grips can pop out. I wish they were more securely attached, but they do stay in with use. The tweezers come with a branded, black plastic cased, magnetic closure compact mirror. It contains two mirrors with the bottom mirror having magnification. There is also a soft, black, drawstring pouch included for carrying both the tweezers and mirror.MY OPINION:The plastic cover over the light button was pretty hard for me to get off. I had to push the button down while pushing the ring over it. I used a retracted pen to do this I found that to be a bit frustrating, but I’m glad they had something over it to prevent it from being turned on accidentally, which would waste the battery. I wish there was an easier way to do this - a build in method I could use in case it gets pushed accidentally while in my purse.The light is very bright. It is a cool-toned white. When using it to pluck eyebrows, I had to make sure I didn’t get the light in my eyes, otherwise it would be too bright to use the tweezers. This is more of a user issue, than a product issue, I think, but could pose issues for some people. The light could be focused more to where the tweezer ends are.There is a place for a flathead screwdriver on the end of the tweezers so that you may take out and dispose of the battery. The box says that the battery cannot be replaced. I find this to be an issue. I don’t want to only use the light until the batteries die. I’d like a replaceable battery. I ended up opening the end to investigate. The end has a spring and it both holds the batteries in with a connection, and holds the light in place between the tweezers. The batteries appeared to be 3-AG3 coin cell batteries, shrink wrapped together. I found some in a search which might work as a replacement. (I haven’t tested them.)The outside of the mirror is plastic, so I can see this being scratched by the tweezers unless you keep it in the bubble wrap that it came in while in the pouch. I think the pouch would work better if there was a separate section for the tweezers or a separate small pouch for the tweezers themselves. However, it’s nice that they included this pouch.THE GOOD:- Comfortable to use- Light is bright- Good grip- Slanted tweezer head (grips well)- Comes with mirror and pouchTHE BAD (or not so bad):- Irreplaceable battery (maybe?)- Broad light (not super focused)- Mirror casing can be scratched by tweezers in pouch- Button protecter is hard to removeFINAL THOUGHTS:This tweezers works well, and with the grips and light, it’s a step up from a regular pair of tweezers. I think it’s not bad for what it is, but it could use some improvements. The mirror and pouch are nice bonuses. The irreplaceable battery and initial light button cover removal irritate me the most about this. If they don’t bother you, I’d say this is a nice purchase. I hope this review helps!

I love these tweezers! They are sharp and precise. Having a light is a big bonus as it makes it easier to see all of those little hairs that normally get missed. I love having the pouch to store the tweezers. The mirror that came with the tweezers is nice to have especially when traveling. I did save the plastic cover that was over the on/off button, so the light didn't go on by mistake when the tweezers were stored in the bag.

So, I admit, I feel a little foolish. There's a white clip over the power button. It's meant to protect the power from turning on during shipping. You can reach the button and turn it on even with this clip on, so I just thought it was part of the design. Silly me. There's nothing in the instructions or packaging that references this clip. So, once I figured that out, I liked these tweezers a lot more! The tweezer end is firm and precise. The black grips make it comfortable to hold and use. The light seems plenty bright and even a little too bright in my eyes when I wasn't careful with my aim. But the brightness was great for finding lighter colored hairs. It comes with a compact mirror that is regular on one side and magnified on the other. I do wish the magnified side was even more magnified. It doesn't seem much different from the regular side. The set also comes with a nice velvet pouch for storage. My only other criticism is that there is a little sticker on the side of the tweezers indicating that there is a battery in the product. I removed the sticker and it left behind some very sticky residue. I'd suggest just leaving that sticker on. This is a great tool and would make a nice gift or stocking stuffer.

These tweezers are very sharp. Almost too sharp and a little rough, but as long as you're super careful, the light is a pretty cool feature. These are the pair of tweezers I would keep in the car - I can't tell you how many times I've had to use the visor light to finish my makeup because I was running late lol - and no I wasn't driving! Anyway, I wouldn't replace my normal tweezers with these, but for low light conditions they are pretty awesome. The light is super bright so in addition to needing to be careful not to pinch your eyelid off, ya gotta be careful not to blind yourself. Good secret weapon, though. The mirror is okay, but I have to double check to figure out which one is the magnifying one. It's maybe 1.1x? But for all I'm not impressed by, I'm definitely impressed by the price. I'm used to paying twice that for just the tweezers, but throw in the mirror and I forget all about how inconvenienced I am to have to be a little extra safe.

First of all, when these tweezers arrived, with a plastic guard band on them to prevent the light switch from being activated. You'll need to remove the band before you can use themThese tweezers work very well. They have a nice sharp edge and the silicone pads make them comfortable to hold. I love the built-in light; it makes it easy to see those pesky little chin hairs. On the back of the box it says that the batteries are non-replaceable but I think what they meant to say is that they're not rechargeable. They also state that they take LR41 type batteries. and it looks like the battery compartment can be opened with a screwdriver. I did try opening it but so far haven't been able to becasue it's quite tight. I need find someone with more muscle to open it. This came with a slim compact with both a regular mirror and a magnified mirror. This is very handy . It also came with a velvety pouch. However, the pouch is really only good for the mirror. If I put the tweezers in the pouch, they're scratch the compact.I think this is a nice set. The built-in light is a great idea.

The mirror is very nice and great for keeping in my purse, I like that one side has a magnification mirror. The tweezers work like any standard tweezer, but the light is sooooo bright that it's impossible to use them on your own eyes. Blinding.
