This does help with migraines. It feels very cold when coming out of thr refrigerator but warms up quickly.

Absolute Life Saver!If you suffer from headaches or migraines, this is a total game changer. My pregnant wife has been dealing with terrible headaches, and this has brought her fast relief. She puts it in the freezer for 20–30 minutes, and the moment she puts it on, the relief is almost instant. It’s stretchy, comfortable, and thick enough that it’s not see-through. Even after multiple uses, it still fits perfectly. Overall, it works incredibly well—highly recommend!

The smell is kind of funny when you first get it but it goes away after you freeze it. It fits great. Stays cold for about 30 minutes in use. Works well.

I was shocked to find that the pressure from this headband countered the pressure in my head. It is such a lifesaver that I bought one for every household in my family. In most cases replaces excedrin for migraines.

I got this to have to change out with another that I received as a gift. I immediately noted that this is not very well constructed and it is extremely thin. I don’t expect it to last very long but I will update. The cold affect is magic to ease pain. Unfortunately it stays cold for a VERY short time. Unlike my other, this one can apparently be warmed as well. I get no relief from heat, but it you do then it might be worth a try. It might work better for heat. There is some compression over the eyes and jaw that gives some relief as well as blocking light. Overall though, there are others out there that would have been more worth the money for my particular needs.
