A Must Have for I-Cord knitters!
What a smart tool! As someone who has manually knitted I-cords in the past, this little machine is an incredible time saver! Very easy to set up, very quiet and efficient! Solid construction, and only requires USB power. The knitting process is fairly hands off except for moving up the weight(s) and managing the twist of the cord as it is produced under the machine. Very highly recommended!

Easy to use and fun
I absolutely love this little machine, I bought this one after being disappointed with a hand crank one. Love that it's powered and the cord it makes is wonderful. I loved the nifty long crochet hook with an eyelet in it, I'll be able to use that for other projects. The box was nice, packaged well and I got replacement needles just in case included.

Nice worth the money
The media could not be loaded. Value for the money, functionality, its easy to learn I watched a few videos on YouTube the directions were pretty much the same. It may take a few times and a few mistakes but once you get it and learn how to deal with the weights, you can get a nice long beautiful rope.

Disappointed
This was a disappointment. I tried several times taking the learning curve into account. It still was a failure. The little white knob on the front consistently comes off when turning manually to get the process started. The knitted cord it made looks horrible. The stitch comes off the hook as it is turning resulting in dropped stitches and a cord with gaps in several areas. Other times the yarn bogs up even though the weights are on the end and it’s being monitored to ensure the yarn is continuously feeding through the guide; which lead to bulky area in the cord.

As Expected
If you need an I-cord this is great. I needed one for a hat I am making and it worked great. However, I don't think I will use it very often.

I'm torn on how to review this.
The media could not be loaded. On one hand, if you have an understanding of how to use icord makers, it's very easy to set up and get going. I use a hand crank icord maker and it's very easy and fast for me to use.Upon setting this up, getting yarn started, adding weights, and pressing the power button...it's soooo slow. It's like watching grass grow or paint dry. Painfully slow. Now this would be great for a newbie to icords. But I want SPEEEEEED. I wish there were speed options and I keep checking for any hidden buttons but cannot find any.You can't leave this unattended, which I understand, but when it's so slow, watching it pains me.Have I mentioned it's slow?I will definitely use it. But wish upon wish it would magically speed up!
