Strap slippage
I used the pack whilst hiking sections of the SWCP over the last two weeks, carrying tent, sleeping bag, waterproofs, stove etc. From this experience I would identify the main positives and negatives as:1. Positives: The ruck sack looked nice, and was well supplied with useful aids; e.g. a. Lots of useful MOLE attachment points b. Loops to secure two walking Poles c. Buckled straps top and bottom for securing sleeping roll, tent etc. d. Top and front access to the main compartment e. Separate bottom compartment for sleeping back that could also be accessed from the main compartment f. Convenient external side pockets (without a lid/flap) closed by drawstring.2. Negatives: g. The buckles for the shoulder straps kept allowing the tightened straps to imperceptibly loosen and slip through the buckles, which caused the top of the pack to fall away from the shoulders. This was uncomfortable, and I kept having to retighten the straps, which although simple to do, was irritating. h. The main compartment was much smaller than I thought it would be, perhaps because of the two long external side pockets. A personal thing, but personally I would rather have the extra room in the main compartment. I placed waterproof trousers and jacket in the side compartments as the compartments could only be closed by drawstring and were not waterproof. i. The padding on the shoulder straps was a bit on the thin side, but tolerable. j. There is an L/S/M adjustment for the strap harness to accommodate peoples heights. Although useful, I still found that even with the L selected (I am 5'11") the rucksack towered above my head and bottom was level with the start of my backbone. I would have preferred the rucksack further down, particularly as coastal walking is all up and down (mainly up!).Overall, a good rucksack, but I would not buy again because of the disadvantages, and the fact that it is not particularly comfortable on long walks when compared to packs of a similar price. If it was just to be used for one or two days it would be fine though.

Seems very flimsy & the zips get stuck & over all. not the best..5/10😖
