Organic EarthBox 2000136 Green Garden Kit

In just one month, my two tomato plants are huge! We are now building a second set of ladders for support as the plants are now taller than I am. It was real easy to set up. We just purchased the soil locally: Miracle Gro Performance Organic All Purpose Container Mix. We have six tomatoes already!

I have tomatoes planted in this Earthbox. that are 4ft 6 in tall and producing a lot of tomatoes. We have a too much rain this year and I think the container gardening has been the way to go. My only concern is if when the weather is hot & dry, will there be enough water in the reservoir to keep the plant alive, when I am not there to water it 3 times a day.

Great when you have no backyard soil.This is an awesome alternative to a planter box. I would just highly recommend getting the trellis in system if you’re doing tomatoes or any other climbing vegetable it honestly should come standard with the box.

I can grow lots of peppers, and different varieties, in these, and have enough to freeze and last all year. I'm still getting the hang of tomatoes, which have been coming out kind of small, but I think I'll get the hang of those too. You need to get more potting soil and fertilizer every year, and new covers every few of years. I've got 4 of these and I may get some more, because I have had reasonable success with them.

I have used Earth Boxes for years. A friend had been quite interested in the harvest my boxes generated each year. I decided to gift her one for Christmas. The are very easy to set up / no weeds to pull/ and you can't possibly over water.

Got an amazing crop of courgettes and its so easy to look after compared to using grow bags. Can't recommend this highly enough.
