Recommended for Earbud Users Who Wants a More Stable Fitting and Earbud Haters (like me) Who Have Had Trouble With the Fitting.
Introduction:I have been into earphone hobby since 2011 and collected 20+ earphones that worth my attention. However, earbuds are not included in my collection. I personally hate them mainly because they do not fit well nor provide at least a slight isolation. But there is only one earbud that I still keep as a childhood memory and that is Creative EP-880, a premium, sleek-looking earbud I first had back in 2004 and it is still functional.Still, I cannot use the EP-880 for a daily use because the earbud fails to stay on my ear mainly due to large speaker diameter by earbud standard ( picture #1). Yet I have tried various products that would help the earbud stay in my ear; but they fail to at least get them fit into the earbud. Then I found a silicone fin named Earhoox which is designed mainly for earbuds. The fin reminds me of the fin stabilizer from Dunu's DN-2000 which actually works well; so I choose Earhoox.Review:There are two important questions I would like to address:1) Do Earhoox fit to an oversized earbud like EP-880?2) Do Earhoox help the earbud stay, or at least fits comfortably in my ear?And optionally, Do Earhoox improve the isolation that earbuds?Actually, both of the questions are yes, they do! Except the last question; Earhoox will not improve the isolation of earbuds. Although the earbud appears to fully cover my earhole, a single tap and typing sound still can be heard.Picture #2 shows how big the earbud, EP-880, compared to the Earhoox. The Earhoox can be stretched, though it needs some careful time and adjustment to the fragile earbud, like where I want the fin to be located ( #3). Furthermore, I have shown that the earbud fits comfortably into my ear (#4). The fin stabilizes the earbud and prevents it from falling off from the ear. I test its stabilization when walking around the house and to outside and it works just fine. However, it needs some techniques to properly insert the earbud; however, the instruction manual does not provide clear information to show the trick (#5) . The way I do it is by bending the fin with your point finger while thumb on the earbud (#6) when inserting it to your ear, then release the fin once it stays to your ear. You may have different ways of inserting it but don't give up, it takes some practices. After thought:The Earhoox proves that it helps earbud stays comfortably in the ear. Now I can listen to the old earbud EP-880 and taste the sound from my childhood. Yet, I can compare its performance to the earphones nowadays but I find the earbud sounds disappointing - it is still a million years away to outperform the earphones I have.I do recommend Earhoox for earbud-users who look for a way to stabilize earbud fitting and those who have trouble fitting-in the earbuds. However the Earhoox would not improve the sound quality nor noise isolation of an earbud. Those who seek for better sound quality ( and better isolation) should try out in-ear earphones instead as there are plenty of good "budget" in-ear earphones in the market like the Xiaomi Piston II and Phillips SHE3590.Thank you for reading and I'm outta here!-Sam

Keeps the 812887014670 jlab bluetooth earphones from groupon from falling off!.
This review may be different from most as I purchased them for a different kind of earphone. I purchased the 812887014670 jlab bluetooth earphones from groupon. These earphones are excellent in every aspect apart from one... They never stuck to my ears and fell off even when I used the treadmill for less than a minute, let alone being on the road for a hour or more! So, I resigned to fate and only used the Bluetooth earphones with a skullcap.- I had seen these earhooks before but I decided to purchase them for the Jlab earphones. If they didn't work for the Jlab, I could always use them for my regular earbuds.- when I got them, I replaced the original Jlab earbuds with these earhooks and voilĂ ; they stuck to the ear! What joy! Not only did they not fall out on the treadmill, they have stayed put for my long runs! They also feel comfy and do not aggravate my ears at all after a long run, which I feared would happen! They come in two sizes and even though the smaller ones fit my ears, I decided to use the large ones for maximum grip to my ears.- Hope this helps someone who purchased the above Jlab Bluetooth earphones and was looking for a way to get them to stick to the ears!

Hoox perfectly!
I must have oddly shaped ears because I have problems with the various ear phones staying in place, and earbuds hurt my ear canal. Because the "hoox" are soft and flexible. It easily adjusts to hook into the ear without any pain. They were fairly easy to slip on, but discovered you can put the wrong hoox on the wrong ear piece. The sound isn't blocked by the product. Each order/package came with two sets; one with larger hooks than the other. So, one of the two will work. They don't claim to block out noise, so I did expect to hear outside noises. Great for working out because they stay put. If you accidentally pull the earphone cables, thus pulling out the earphone, the soft material doesn't hurt the ears. All in all, great idea, design, and service (the products arrive really quick). There were several times where one or both hoox came off in my laptop bag and backpack. Probably from rubbing against the bag. Never had them come off while in my ear or around my neck. I don't store them in my pocket, but assume it could slide off if it did so in my bag.

Impressed so far
When I accidently ran into to on Amazon I was hesitant to purchase but given the price I figured couldn't hurt and I've been using them for around 2 weeks now around 4 hours per day while walking, jogging, working jumping and overall I've been very impressed and my ears weren't sore afterwards. My earbuds have came out of my ears a total of one time and that was because I have the pesky wired earbuds(wireless bit expensive for me)and my hand caught the left wire and pulled the earbud out. Not sure if it was in the description or not but I didn't see it so I was surprised when I opened the package there were 2 pair included although it's one what I guess I large size and one small to medium.ive been told my ears are in the small size but the small hoox are to small so I would guess they are maybe for children. If you have trouble keeping earbuds in your ears these earhoox are a nice cheap fix

First impression - awesome after fiddling a little with my wrong-design headset
I'm using them with the LG Tone Infinim headset LG Tone Infinim HBS-900 Wireless Stereo Headset, Silver . I won't attest to what they look like when I wear them, but the Earhoox significantly improve the sound. The headset has "traditional earplugs" with three sizes of simple round buds to fit into your ear. Perhaps I have unusually shaped ears (don't we all?) but I couldn't get any of the round buds to fit snugly and stay in place. I looped the Earhoox over the earplugs, tried different bud sizes, and finally achieved a reliable fit.I have a cheap zipper case for the headset, and I need to pull the retractable earbuds out a little to fit the case.I need to use these for a few weeks to see if the perfect fit remains or requires fiddling to maintain.

The missing design element in the AirPods
I love these. Without these my AirPods will not work for me but with, I get to experience the AirPods for the lucky folks with the right shaped ear holes for whom Apple designed them :)

Not for me, unfortunately.
I tried these out a few weeks ago as my father had purchased a pair and really enjoyed them. As we've both always had the same problem with headphones falling out and not sitting correctly, particularly while exercising, I really hoped these wold work for me as well, and during my "test fitting" they seemed to greatly improve things. However, once I got my own and used them for a few hours to test them more thoroughly, I soon found that they made no appreciable difference, and in fact made the headphones slip out even more readily while doing vigorous movements. Likely these will work for some people, as the shape of everyones ear is different, but for me they were terrible.

But it did stop that annoying necessity to constantly readjust my ear-buds for correct volume ...
Well. What can I say about the earhoox. They worked well for me. For Walking and biking. I did not do any running, however the rigorousness of the biking, it would seem to indicate that they would hold up well, in the running. The earhoox did not prevent my ear bud from falling out. But it did stop that annoying necessity to constantly readjust my ear-buds for correct volume transfer ( the constant need to poke them back into canal). And they made wearing ear-buds in my helmet so much less of a hassle. The only thing I take issue with is the lack of sizing. My package came with 2 sizes. Given that there are more than 3 types of ear on humans, this might make this product Not for you. But given the price you can generally find this product at, why not give them a shot.
