Kids dig it and easy to put away
Bought this as a gift for my sister's kids - one of which is just entering gymnastics. Seemed to make sense because it folds up and can be put in the garage so you don't have an eyesore in the backyard all year long... and its apparently light enough for the kids to move it themselves. She just sent me this video and some pics – looks like they're excited!

Update: This seller has reached out to me very concerned about the product quality issues we experienced as they are not typical of the product, and has done an amazing job of working with us to make it right. So while the beam that we got originally was not as expected, we are now 100% satisfied with this transaction.Original Post : Do not buy...staples poking out of the bottom and if you remove them the liner comes off of the foam. Foam is not sturdy enough to practice any skills. My daughter is 7 and weighs 38 pounds so she should not have caused this to bow like it did. For the amount charged for this item I am beyond frustrated.

Balancing Fun and Fitness
Our students paticipate in a "Minds in Motion" program every day. One of their favorite stations is the balance beam. It's the perfect size and easily moved from place to place in the room. Sometimes the grown ups like to try it, too! We are very pleased with our purchase.

Great beam
We got this beam for our 7 year old daughter because it was much less expensive than a raised beam. We were worried that she'd not like it since it wasn't raised, but we were pleasantly surprised that she actually really, really likes it. Because the beam is on the ground, it gives her the confidence to try things she might not have dared to try if it were raised.It has held up well these past 2 months. A good buy for us.

I’m extremely satisfied and pleased with this product! My daughter is 7 and never seems to enter a room without doing a cartwheel. This balance beam is lightweight and easy to move. She herself can fold and unfold it. It has a bag that makes it easy to carry. The material on the beam is soft but just like the gymnastics floor so she doesn’t slip while bounceing around. The non skid bottom does exactly what it says, doesn’t move on any of her tricks, on any of our floors! It’s perfect for what I was looking for!!
