Q: my rain gutter ends at the back doors on my JK. Is this rack designed to fit in the rear slots?

I have a 2009 JK with rain gutters ending at back doors. I mounted rear cross bar abour 3 inches forward of the end of the gutter. It works beautifully. I've loaded a 75 pound canoe numerous times. Solid as a rock. Be sure to check allen head machine screws periodically, particularly after initial installation.

Q: I have a sun rider flip top. Can I mount behind the rain gutter (it does not extend behind the back doors)?

Yes, it will work. I have the Bestop Sunrider Twill on mine. I have a 2023 XR 2.0 on 35's and was afraid that it wouldn't fit in my garage. It's a very solid product even though I sent it back only because of the height for my garage.
