I needed to help get my days organized and knew that I needed to get a whiteboard. I was going to have it on the wall in my living room and so I wanted something that also looked nice.Things I like:The wood frame has a nice look to it. Looks a little nicer than regular whiteboards.The chalkboard and white board have no problems writing on and cleaning off.The size is awesome.At least for mine, it came without the screws attached so I could choose where to put the screws.It is nonporous so chalk markers work just fine on it.Big enough for me to easily plan out a full week of to do.Things I don't like:The string they give you has a lot of stretch, so the string that hangs it is very visible and I don't like that.I don't really use both sides as much as I thought I would because it isn't that easy to flip it from one side to the other.When I was putting in the screws it is very easy to splinter the wood even though the screws are small.I wanted a magnetic board so that I could easily hold a pen on it. The chalkboard side is the only side that is magnetic and my board is mostly on the whiteboard side so it is a little pointless for me to get this because of that.Overall I like it but I probably should have just bought a regular whiteboard so that it didn't have the huge string at the top and because I don't really bounce back and forth between chalk and whiteboard as much as I thought I would.

MY first ever attempt using a chaulkboard and chaulk markers to make a sign for my niece's graduation during this crazy covid time. Had to have a rolling party for her graduation party and I really wanted her sign to be special! A few searches brought up this idea. I watched two youtube videos and I was on my way! I modeled the design on a magnet and I used white tiny dots for measuring and then used dental floss as lines. Anyway, this chaulkboard was excellent to use, easy to draw on and easy to erase and left no markings!!! Trust me, I deleted a lot since it was my first attempt. Kudos to this company as well for delivering this product to me on time!!! I wrote separately asking to get it one day in advance of delilvery date and they did it. I got it just in time to practice for a day. I highly recommend this brand and this company!

Overall, it's a nice chalkboard. It came with a several dents (ranging from 1/4 inch spots to a 3 inch dent) on the black side as did the shipping box, which is a little disappointing. Not enough to make returning it worth it. The twine that came with it was far too short to hang it with. I am happy with the wood frame. It appears to be very study and well made. I purchased the cedar markers as well. They write smoothly and come off easily with a damp rag. I just wished it had been packaged better so it wouldn't have gotten dented.

❎1. The packaging for the 24x36 board should have been a narrow box with sizable corner and edge protection. The frame is chipped in several places.2. Maybe consider providing mounting hardware, built in accommodations or even suggestions.3. Markers required a LOT more priming than the box instructions suggested.✅ why I would buy it again:1. So many marker colors and they are SO vibrant (but what’s the point of a black chalk marker? 🤷🏽‍♀️)2. Markers don’t have a scent3. Wood frame on the board is a nice look4. Cleans completely and easily (but cleaning instructions should come with the board in case folks don’t buy your markers)5. Lots of board size variety6. Very BLACK board7. AND it’s magnetic!

I bought this board and had my husband cut it down to fit into one of my kitchen cupboard panels looks great and I can also switch around for the white surface so I have 2 boards in one! Both surface sides write really smooth and I love how the colors pop on the black side. I did buy the Cedar markers as recommended but I think any chalk marker will work. Clean up is really easy I keep a cloth hanging on the side of the refrigerator for convenience all I do is wet and wash!

We bought this chalkboard and a magnetic doodle board for our 19 month old grandson. He enjoyed writing on the walls with sidewalk chalk & pens.The purchase was wonderful. He loves using his sidewalk chalk on the chalkboard & erasing the chalkboard buy standing on it with his socks on & sliding his feet. The sidewalk chalk comes off with ease.The chalkboard is magnetic. He likes putting the magnets from the doodle board on the chalkboard. It has a whiteboard on the back. Going to show him how it works when he gets older.I do recommend this chalkboard. Just we wish that the company would offer magnetic letters, numbers & other types of magnets as a side order.

Update: still really like the board, but it should be noted that the whiteboard side is not magnetic.It’s a nonporous chalkboard and whiteboard. I love that it’s reversible and magnetic with a wooden frame at a great price point. It came packaged well with corner protectors and plastic wrap inside a delivery box. It is also easy to clean following their directions with a wet rag or baby wipe and dry it off with a dry towel.There were some minor splinters on the inside area of the frame, but I was able to remove them easily with tweezers and it’s not even noticeable now.Great board! I love it! I’m excited to use it more regularly. 100% satisfied.

Our product came with a small dent in it and chip in the wood. I didn't want to take the time to send back, so I will just fill in the chipped wood with stain. The stain color of the wood was a little lighter than I wanted anyways. I know things get damaged when shipped so I would never leave a bad review over the small damages. This product was sturdy, it held our magnets well that we wanted for it, the chalkboard is very nice and clean. I cannot complain at all. For what I spent this was to me worth the money and will come in good use for our kids!
