We purchased 2 of these boats to take out to the lake. My son who's 10 got the hang of it quick and had a blast racing them around. Loved the lights so you could see them at dusk. They held up well to jumping waves and a few accidents. Would love to be able to get more propellers, as those seem to be what could brake. They do go really fast. Depending on how they are driven, the batteries can drain fairly quick. Overall a great buy and a great time!

I just got back from Lake Balboa here in Los Angeles, and man did I have fun. I absolutely love it.Pros: Very nice packaging. Easy instructions. Easy breakdown and reassembly for battery insertion. Short charging time. Decent operating time. Very responsive controls. Very nice company owner. BOAT IS RIDICULOUSLY FAST.Cons: BOAT IS RIDICULOUSLY FAST. Use in a small pool requires great care, by comparison to use on open water (Pond, Lake). Not recommended for use in the ocean. Supposedly grommet-sealed inner compartment got a few droplets of of water in it after about twenty minutes of operation on a lake. While it isn't a big deal, it should be noted. A quick run through with a paper towel directly after use keeps the important parts nice and dry.This product was given to me for testing purposes. I have not been compensated to leave this review.BUY THIS TOY! You won't be sorry!

When buying an RC boat, I looked at most of them on Amazon.I felt this was the best bargain because of the 2 batteries - and both are 3000mAh.Plus, this boat was cheaper than other boats that look remarkably similar - as in I think they're the same boats just different colors.The charger is a USB charger. So there's no wall plug. But in the box is a card that offers either a wall plug charger or a 3rd battery when you leave a review with a picture and send a screenshot to them via email.I'm taking the third battery.Update: The propellers are plastic and both broke in less than a month. In the Q&A, the seller says to contact them at support@contixo.com. I’ve done that multiple times and get no response.I even tried going to Contixo.com and filling out a support form. No response.Ive probably spent another $80 trying to find replacement propellers with no luck.Do not buy.

This boat will move fast on the water, the safety feature of only running in the water is an excellent feature, the battery life is also particularly good. The boat will move so fast it will come out of the water if the lake is choppy and loses synch with the controller, it reconnects as soon as boat is in water. There is a trim for adjusting the full speed depending on water conditions. Service was excellent as well, the seller, AAA Mart, had advertised within the body of narrative description of product it would come with two batteries. When I received it, it only had one battery, I contacted the seller and shortly thereafter I received the remaining battery as advertised.

this is our second remote controlled boat purchase and this thing is legit! the kids love it. It has a strong battery too. Really fast, steers well and is a blast in the water!

The media could not be loaded.  Nice that it turns on automatically when in water. The LED lights and the flag are pretty sweet. It doesn't go 20 MPH but it still goes pretty fast. Have used it at least 10 times and it is a blast!

Works well. Can go top speed for about 10 mins on original batteries...

The media could not be loaded.  At first, I didn’t expect a lot for what I was paying for. My expectations weren’t very high until unboxing the product itself and noticing the quality it has. For instance, the box and the boat itself were very promising as to how it will perform. Needless to say, I charged the battery and headed out to the nearest lake to give the boat a try. And WOW! Not only is the boat fast, but it also has very precise steering on the remote control! After 20 minutes of playing with it, I was just shocked to realize how this boat for the money has far exceeded my expectations. Another thing worthy of attention is that the boat comes installed with an active water-cooling system that operates when using it. It has the running tubes feeding the cool water to the engine. If there is one thing I’d add in addition to this boat is to get yourself an additional battery for it. Overall, I’m super satisfied with this product and highly recommend to anyone looking into the hobby!

Really disappointed with this product and company. Bought as a birthday present and never worked. Went through returns process which cost me $56 AUD to send back to US and never heard anything back from this company. What do I do now? Have paid for the product and postage back and now I am left with NOTHING!

Bought this boat for an 11 year old. The boat works very well. Very fast. Batteries last a longer time than expected. Great for on a lake or river. Going to buy another one to race!
