From Washboards to Washing Machines: How Homes Have Changed (Lightning Bolt Books Comparing Past and Present)

The title is a misrepresentation. This is NOT a history on washing machines but a quick overview of households appliances. I was looking for a history on washing machines. Disappointed. On the other hand the pictures are quite appropriate and informative for the topic the book does cover.

I guess I wasn't that clear from the product description that it WAS a kids' book. I'd put the reading level at about six to eight years old. Might be nice for someone of that age, just wasn't what I expected.
