Beef and beef burger have a lot of corn syrup!
Check the ingredients! I got The chicken, beef burger and beef flavored treats for my dogs. All three of my dogs love all of the flavors. I had no problems with any of them, then I my oldest dog started to have health problems. I checked out their treats and found that they had ingredients that our vet said were very bad for them. They all have salt which isn't good for them, but not awful in occasional treats as long as they don't have heart disease. The worst ingredient is the corn syrup. It is the second ingredient in the beef flavor and the third ingredient in the beef burger flavor! I don't even eat foods with added corn syrup, so I was ashamed that I bought something that bad for my dogs. Of course treats aren't an everyday food for dogs, but the bad additives are easy to avoid, so I plan to be more careful when purchasing them for my dogs. If you have any questions about what is best for your dogs, you can probably just call your vet and ask them about specific ingredients.

That's perfect. A word of warning
This review is for the 50oz bag of Canine Carry Outs Beef and Cheese dog treats. These are one of the only types of soft dog treat I give my Labrador. And she loves them. Quite a lot. So, those little five ounce pouches you get at the grocery store really don't cut it, especially for the price they charge. This is the holy grail of treats if you've got a big girl that likes them. The price for this size of bag, when I bought it..I got ten of the little bag worth but only paid three of them worth. That's perfect.A word of warning. If you haven't bought dog treats online before, when they come you hide the box and do not let the dog see the treats come out of the box. Mine goes out of her tree now when she sees a box brought in the house.

OK in small amounts.
The treat looks fabulous, but I became somewhat less enthusiastic upon reading the list of ingredients. But my dogs love it, so rather than serve the pieces in their original size, I cut each one into smaller slices and use them as rewards for an ad hoc small job well done, i.e., intended to reinforce the praise in the hope that the dogs will register their rewarded effort as something worth repeating.Despite the above, I expect I will keep buying these until I find a treat as malleable as this one: well-liked by pooches and so easy to cut into 2-3 smaller pieces without the inevitable mess that a crumbly biscuit will make but not big enough to miss them when the treat, eventually, will fall off the list.,

Apparently They Are Amazing
I haven't personally tasted these, but my dog has. He won't eat treats he doesn't like. I've wasted money on expensive treats in the past, and he left them alone if he didn't like them. He loves the Canine Carry Outs Dog treats. He gets them tossed at him a few times a day, and jumps mid air to get them. These are great training treats for large dogs. They are too big for training small dogs. We have a pyrenees so he's a big boy, and these are better sized for him than the smaller ones. This bag is a good size, and lasts us a few weeks. 2 last us a month. They look good, and our dog loves them. We like the price.

My dog loves them
I love it when I can find good quality treats that my dog will love at a good price. These are perfect. We are training our puppy to do tricks and to listen and he will pretty much do anything for these. The pieces are fairly large so when I use them for tricks I cut them up into smaller pieces.

first of all dont believe everything snopes says, come on they lie
but so far no recall but admit some dogs get sick mine does,, I asked for refund and this company was great is giving refund and doesn't want product back,, I am throwing a 50 oz bag in the trash, Look it up for yourself, FDA is asking for dog owners to write to them if your dog has an issue, So that says they are looking into it, I gave 3 starts because the company is being so good about it, but treats go in the trash, why risk it??

Ingredients listed in review, for those that are curious.
We purchased the Canine Carry Outs Beef Flavored Snacks since they were out of the Bacon flavored snacks and our dog LOVES them! She is a bit old (going on 13 years old) and needs soft chewy snacks - these did the job. They were a good price for the size, were shipped quickly and packaged well. Overall a good buy! They are mostly crude chicken protein and consist of 30% moisture, which makes them so chewy. In case anyone is wondering about the ingredients I will include them below. Not the healthiest ingredients in the world but I have seen much, much worse in stores. It's a shame the healthiest treats are so expensive! I do rotate these in between homemade peanut butter and chicken treats that I make once a week to minimize the intake of artificial ingredients where possible.IngredientsChicken, Corn Syrup, Soy Flour, Wheat Flour, Corn Starch, Water, Propylene Glycol, Animal Fat (BHA Used As A Preservative), Animal Digest, Calcium Sulfate, Soy Protein Concentrate, Sugar, Beef, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Phosphoric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Sorbic Acid (Used As A Preservative), Red 40 Lake, Garlic Powder, Natural Smoke Flavor, Iron Oxide, BHA (Used As A Preservative), Citric Acid (Used As A Preservative).Vitamin, mineral enriched.Calcium fortified for strong bones and teeth.
