Not perfect but works ok once set up.
A little difficult to set up due to how it’s shaped. The reset button is on the top, but with my tv, this causes the button to be flush against the back of the tv and therefore unable to be pressed. Also had to unplug our other HDMI cord because of positioning issues. It would also help if instructions were clearer. The YouTube video was kind of pointless in my opinion. Once set up, it does work well with iPhone iOS.

If you have a Miracast transmitter, this is an excellent adapter
Worked prefectly plugged into tv (10 year old Samsung 50" Plasma with 1 HDMI port) using a generic 6ft HDMI cable I got from monoprice.com for $1.98! Connected to power outlet since no USB on tv and followed insturctions and connected to Kindle right away. Didn't update the firmware, I decided I would try it first and see what happened after reading here the problems people were having. Didn't need it and now not going to update it. I didn't check mine but it might have come with the new update already loaded. Picture quality is excellent. No problems. highly recommended for new Kindle users.

It was easy to install and I was able to use it ...
Arrived quickly and worked perfectly. It was easy to install and I was able to use it within a half hour of receiving it.
