great gluten free dairy free option to make lots of yummy food!
We LOVE the new gluten free Bisquick! I used to for cheddar biscuits mostly until we found out that we had a milk protein intolerance. Now, we are using this to make so many more recipes because it is dairy free and from what I can tell allergen free. The only thing I would like better (General Mills-if you are listening-I know I am not the only one that wants this) is if it came in bulk packaging. Just put the GF Bisquick in a larger box like the regular Bisquick and then sell in a 3 or 6 pack. Just mark that this review was helpful if you agree and maybe GM will listen! LOVE THIS-ORDER NOW!!

Don't shy away from the word Gluten. This mix is awesome!
This mix is fantastic. I love pancakes -- could eat them three times a day. But traditional mixes and recipes (using regular flour) make 'heavy' pancakes. For me (now that I am older '55') I just could not eat pancakes anymore -- would bloat me up and take a long time to digest. When I saw this in the local store -- and I had been hearing about the Gluten debate -- I decided to try it. Glad I did, because now I can eat pancakes again! These come out very light; they don't bloat me up and I can digest them easily -- and they do hold me until lunch. The local store (Wal-Mart) stopped stocking it -- of course. So checking Amazon I realized that buying the 3 box unit costs the same (per box) as what I was paying at the local store -- and this is the prime price. I always bought two boxes at a time, so this is great for me. I always make pancakes for the whole week and keep them in the icebox; then use the microwave to warm them, as I want them. They hold up great in the fridge and they warm up great in the microwave -- they come out just as they were when fresh made. Thank you Amazon.

Using trickery in advertising the products Amazon sells to it's customers!
It's only the second or third time I've ordered food from Amazon, but could be my last time. Imagine me getting my order which included Bisquick, the only pancake mix I've ever known in my life (and I'm 62) and CHEEZ IT White Cheddar baked snack crackers to find that what I got was two baby sized boxes of product. I wasn't aware that either of these products were even made with such a small size box, let alone be the size that Amazon would choose to send it's customers. Comparing the Bisquick Box next to the Family size Rice Krispies was incredibly funny yet nothing in the photos of either products would warn me or tell me that this box is not the normal size box we see everyday at our grocery outlets. I felt like I was made a fool of and was plenty mad that no comparison size example would tip me off to the fact that I was ordering the munchkin size which only makes one stack of pancakes. I've heard stories in my time of false advertising, but this takes the cake (no pun intended!) Plus the price I paid for the mini Bisquick baking Mix was approaching the $5 mark, an outrageous price in this false advertising sham! Amazon you should be ashamed of this trickery scheme to falsely sell products to your customers that are truly the miniature version of what we are used to seeing in the local grocery and drug stores of our communities. I'm very disappointed, mad, and sad at what has become a way of getting unsuspecting customers to buy products from Amazon and will be sure to tell all my friends, workers and families members.

Amazing recipe
This GF Bisquick mix has been a life-saver. My husband is GF and I am finding that many GF recipes either require a lot of ingredients that I don't usually regularly use (xantham gum??) or just do not taste good. I have made biscuits (pic attached) and pancakes regularly with this mixture. Everything has been DELICIOUS! Sometimes I have to alter the recipes for pancake by adding a little extra milk or cream to thin it out but besides that ...it has been smooth sailing. I only wish it was sold in a larger box because the contents of this box goes quickly. I highly recommend this mix and find it cheapest and easiest to get via Amazon. Some grocery stores carry it while others do not. I always get the set of 3 and it lasts a while.

Gluten-free Bisquick ~ Pancake Mix
When I first found Bisquick Gluten-Free it was at my local store and it was quite expensive. I bought 1 box for a trial. As it carries a warning that made me need to proceed with caution. *may contain soy.* As I am both gluten and soy allergic. So with benadryl close at hand I made the pancake recipe. Never before was I a big fan of panakes, so my expectations weren't very high. Gluten-free Bisquick preformed better than I expected. First happily there was no allergy reaction for me. Secondly for the first time in my life I enjoyed my pancake experince . Before I had always felt sort of *unwell* after pancakes but, not to the point of suspecting an allergy. I find their pancakes to be tender light and fluffy. My grandmother who isn't allergic to gluten actually prefers the gluten-free pancakes to the original Bisquick mix . In her opinion the original has a tendency to be more dense and tasting very salty. We would both highly recommend this product to others.

Wow!
Holy Bisquick!!! This product is fantastic! My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac and our whole family is now GF. We've tried a couple of other pancake mixes (not brave enough to try making our own mix yet) and they were fine but noticeably different than regular gluten-containing pancakes. BUT BISQUICK - wow!! So good and no noticeable taste/texture difference at all. We used butter for the oil and I found that the batter produced even fluffier pancakes after it sat for about ten minutes. I let it sit for five before making the first round of pancakes and gave it a stir then it sat for another five before the second round. Second round was perfectly fluffy! I have four kids and they all raved. Try this mix!

OK but not a complete mix
Starting with the good points - the texture of the cooked pancakes is good, quite light and fluffy. The taste is OK but a bit synthetic, reflecting that it's probably more intended for the American market rather than the British palate. But I was disappointed to find that this is not a complete mix. I had assumed you would only need to add water, however the recipe on the box calls for eggs and milk to be added. There is no mention of this in the product description and the only picture of the box cunningly fails to show this. If I already have eggs and milk, I only need to add some plain flour & raising agent and I can make proper pancakes for far less cost. So it's unlikely I'll bother to buy this again.

Great taste of home
As an American I often miss simple things like a good quality pickle, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, ranch dressing and also, Bisquick!Whilst at this imported price it is a little more expensive, Bisquick is a great way to make biscuits, waffles and pancakes, and my English husband really enjoys them too!

Banana Bread!!
I used to make Banana Bread many many years ago using Bisquick, but then I had a very bad reaction to fresh bananas so stopped making them. However recently my family has been demanding for the infamous Banana Bread, so I've found the recipe online and decided to make it again. Well it went down a treat =) =) and I've allowed myself a very thin slice for my efforts. As it's sooo moorish it doesn't even last for 3 days, hence making it again every 3/4 days!!

All purpose Bisquick
Bisquick has an large range of uses. It makes great pie toppings and there is a range of “impossible pies” which are very easy and tasty. Bisquick have a series of cookery books with numerous recipes and it is a great addition to my larder. As a Canadian i am probably prejudiced but there is no substitute for it and i am happy that it is available in England.

Small box!
Box was a LOT smaller than what used to be available in the stores here in the UK. I’m used to the very large American boxes of Bisquick but this was about half the size I was expecting. Rather expensive for how much you get, even with the import. Box also arrived a bit smooshed but that doesn’t affect the biscuit mix inside. Biscuit mix worked and tasted as expected.
