Used these to tap into trailer running lights to install a rear-view camera (these are better quality than what came with the camera). This style allows you to tap into a larger wire using a smaller wire (or vice-versa). They were easy to install and worked as intended. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that you must be careful to ensure the male blade connectors are actually inserted into the metal receiving contact. This sounds obvious, but the first time I connected two of these I didn't realize the male blade inserted into the plastic fine, but was pushed outside of the housing where the receiving metal contact was located. Thus, they appeared fully mated from the outside while in fact they were not electrically connected at all. Fortunately the translucent plastic made my mis-connection obvious when I went back and looked at them again (when I didn't get power the first time). Unplugging and then more carefully plugging them back-in quickly solved the problem.

First off, I think that they are a great value for what you get for the price and overall Im very happy with the product. The only reason I dinged them a little is because of a problem when you pinch them closed. The little clasp on the end doesnt catch most of the time so the tap comes back opened. Dont fret, the wire is tapped so its not a big deal, you just grab it with your fingers and pinch it closed and touch the little clasp and it will stay closed until you put the spade connector on that wraps around the tap keeping it closed anyways. Like I said, not a big deal, just a little annoying to have to touch the tap twice instead of just doing it once like happens with the much higher cost competition

For the price you just can’t beat this box of wire connectors. I have been doing a lot of electrical additions to my truck and trailer such as LED lights. This 240 Piece set has everything you need and more for any size wiring you may have. These connectors make good looking and solid connections. Quick and easy disconnect/connect if you need.

Got these for doing some electrical work on my truck. Thought it was a great deal, but ive wasted more than ive used because of the cheap quality. Once i DO finally get them to stay on the ends, they are not a tight fit with each other and keep disconnecting.Spend the extra few dollars and get something else

I'm a contractor and do a lot of work with LED lighting in cabinets etc. I actually bought these for a quick install of some new headlights for my truck that have LED halo's built in. The wire though for the LED portion of the headlights needed to be spliced into the existing headlight wires for those to work. These are so simple to use I see myself having to purchase another box within the next 6 months since I'll likely use the entire supply up on my jobsites.

simply does not work, does not cut through wire. After you expose the wire manually it does not hold good contact. total waste of time and money. stay away.

I had nothing but problems with this connector. It looks like a great idea but they are horrible to work with. They didn’t seem to do a good job of piercing the insulation when you’re crimping and they didn’t seem to wanna stay together once you got them down and crimped.

I was tired of the poor quality connectors that always come with yard lights so I decided to give these a try. They are easy to install and you can leave them in place and relocate lights as you go. The main thing is, they work every time unlike the connectors that come with yard lights. They, of course, aren't water proof but most low-voltage connectors aren't anyway. I'll buy more if it looks like I'm running low because they would be handy for a lot of things.
