Okay
First of all, I ordered the white light set, but the merchant sent me the blue ones...so I will need to review the blue set. For the price, the lights aren't bad except... The manufacturer could have doubled the amount of lights in the rope, as there is a large space between each bulb. The solar pack is made very cheap, and I had to RTV (glue) the head to the base because it was loose (it's a sealed unit). For mood lighting or help following a path these lights are okay, but don't expect them to last more than a couple of seasons.

Nice mood lighting
I would not count on this for your primary source of light, but I installed it (with included kit) on the underside of my deck railing. I really like the look it has and the fact that I will never have to replace the batteries is icing on the cake!

Solar Rope Lights Sparkle in the Woods
We purchased these lights to decorate a gazebo and decided it was not the look we wanted. We were going camping that weekend and decided to take these three strings of lights with us. We hung them around our dining canopy and around the tent. We also strung them over the picnic table. We were very pleased with the soft light they gave our entire campsite. We will include them in all our evening outdoor activities. They give a soft white light, not as bright as the electric ones, and much more convenient. FYI, the first 5 or 6 feet of rope do not contain lights. Just be aware of where the lights begin if you are lighting a particular area.

solar lights 1/2 working
I actually love that the lights were light weight, long & solar BUT....... the lights ONLY lit up HALF way across from END to middle. ODD that it seems it wouldn't work (lite up) from beginng at solar sorce. I tried to contact the company to figure out a solution because I WANT them but it took three days for a return call --- I missed the call & the man was speaking so FAST I couldn't understand him & then couldn't get thru to phone # he left so I shipped them back to AMAZON which provided my with a FREE shipping lable!!!! GO AMAZON!!!!! You have always been great. If they could have gave me a solution I would have kept them. Now back to square one finding more solar rope lights before summer.

Didn't last long in weather
Had this for a few months. I set it up so the solar panel was on a fence pole, and ran it along the side of my fence that was by the back gate to help illuminate what was otherwise a very dark entry to my back yard.I really liked the light it produced, and helped to see the sidewalk. It only lasted a few months before it completely stopped working. I would have liked to run 3 of them horizontally along the fence to light up the area, but this one failed the reliability test. Cool idea, but low quality product. About what you expect for the price. With a more durable solar panel and battery housing, I think this would last a while.

solar rope light forgot the light part
I ordered two sets to put out on my gazebo, after my husband spend several hours getting them up for they did not have enough hooks and screws to attach with, the light was not there. It had the solar power was charged and we checked all, and still no light, just a very little pin lite.
